I don't know, but hopefully it'll be honored. The last few misprices have been a bust. I did get Neon Genesis Evangelon Platinum vol 2 from amazon.ca last week. Now I just need to find a deal on vol 3. It isn't showing up in the pricesearches yet. So far the best I've found is dvdsoon which is around $19 after the currency conversion. Are there any better deals out there for it?

Deep Discount has Evangelion Platinum 2 for $17.99, so I would say that it is a safe bet that Volume 3 will be the same. If they have the 20% off sale that they had around Thanksgiving of last year, then the price would be $14.39. Total speculation on my part, but I have my fingers crossed.

Gungrave v. 2: scanned for 26.99 at Target...
I was hoping that it would be the same as volume 1 (which I still haven't seen firsthand), which was 15 bucks at Target... it's brand new, and may be a misprice (I've never seen a single dvd sell for that much), so if other people can check, that'd be great. |

It's so strange sometimes regarding Limited Editions.... how is it that some Limited Editions continue to be sold or released for years? Take Escaflowne LE w/Figure for example: there's suppose to be 10,000 numbered boxes, yet... hard to believe that the studio haven't sold that many in the years that it's been in the market.
Also, WHR LE is a great price. Weren't these rare and hard to find months ago? You can't even find these in retailer anywhere. Yet now, TRS all of a sudden have a tons for sale. I don't know... maybe some of these *limited box* are not so limited after all. The only few that I've seen go and stay gone are Cowboy Bebop LE Box, Chobits Box (also 1 w/stationary), ??? what else??? You see my point... seems like out of the gazillion *limited box* releases out these, only a few are truly rare. (not including the limited volumes w/pencil boards, etc.) Anyone else feel the same with Limited Editions? Maybe a waste of money to collect?

Placed an order for the bargain madness: Samurai X - Trust & Betrayal Director's cut. Been wanting to get the Samurai X OVA set for a while, but was waiting for a price drop on the titles.
Anyone know if there are any differences between the individual Trust and Betrayal dvds vs. the Director's cut (which I assume is just those 2 discs spliced together) ? Also, anyone seen the 3rd disc, "Reflection" ? Is it good? Does it enhance the original story told in Trust & Betrayal? Or is it a needless add-on with superfluous story bits?
