DAWN of the DEAD (1978) Ultimate Edition 19.99 (YMMV)

I was at the Circuit City in Naperville, IL (Fox Valley) and in the shelf with new releases there's a space for DAWN OF THE DEAD (FULL FRAME UNRATED DIRECTOR"S CUT) price 19.99 effective untill 11/3. In the slot there's a couple of Anchor Bay's ultimate edition. They ring up at 34.99, but the cashier didn't have a problem giving me the display price.
I'm not sure if this is avaible at other CC's, but thought I'd post the deal, your mileage may vary.

At the beginning of the month, Circuit City prints out the sale tags for everything that's on sale for the month. (This happens at the beginning of each week as well, for the titles on sale for that week). At least, that's what they did when I used to work there. Since the remake DotD is coming out later this month, the sale tag prints with the whole big batch at the beginning of the month. That CC employee must not be familiar with with the different versions and put the sale tag on display. It's a big YMMV, because
1) The sale tag should not even be out until later on this month
2) Even if it is out by mistake, the slot should not be filled with Ultimate Editions.

That's a great find there, but unfortunately it probably won't be widespread at all.

The Fayetteville, AR Circuit City also had the Anchor Bay Ultimate Editions under a 19.99 sign. I took one to the front desk, figuring "it's worth a try." I even expressed doubts to the clerk about the pricing, but she called the manager over and he approved it saying "Hmm...well I guess it's 19.99." Nice bargain.
