Damn, I wish we had Albertson's in Baltimore.

I drink $100 worth of diet soda in less than a month.

Wow .. assuming you buy 12 packs at around $2.50 each that's like 16 cans of diet soda a day.

Geez .. I bet you have to go to the bathroom a lot.

Thanks for the post. If they have some good sales on Pepsi or Hersheys then this could be a sweet deal!

I went to Albertson's today. The Quaker instant oatmeal is on sale usually $3.59 but now $2.00 with your preferred card. When it rang up it shows 3.59 as the price and a separate line for the discount. At the bottom the total the whole $3.59 was included in the accumulated points under Free & easy Movie event. I eat this stuff every mornin and I will be stocking up.

Tropicana OJ also counts for points so that completes my breakfast.

In San Luis Obispo, CA, it's only $50 between 9/24 and 11/4.

Edit: Oh and 12 packs of Pepsi are 3 for $8 and 2L bottles are $0.69.

You can also rack up dollars on Gatorade, Tropicana OJ, Purex laundry detergent, Renuzit air freshner, and it says that there are more items throughout the store.

No, but they are running a special where you get the next Loony Tunes set if you buy $1000 in anvils, rockets or dynamite.

Albertson's up here in Seattle is also giving $20 gift cards for new or transferred prescriptions. You figure if you somehow get 5 scripts within that time frame, you got your $100 to spend on qualifying products and you get the movie too.

Wow an actual board member from San Luis, I miss being in school there since moving on to the real world this past year.

Okay back to the regular topic. I will have to start shopping at Albertson's and see if I can accumulate enough for the free dvd, just by regular shopping.

Also is the OP list of products an all inclusive list, or are there more listed in store?

FYI, I saw this same offer in Shaw's(New England) weekly circular. Most of Shaw's stores are in MA,NH and CT. Albertson's owns Shaws so the list of participating products should be the same:

From the Shaw's website:

Pepsi-Cola, including 12Pk, 24Pk, 2-Liter, 24oz 6Pk, 8oz 6-Pk, and 20oz Singles
Frito-Lay, including Tostitos, Doritos, Ruffles (9oz or larger, 12 and 24 count multi-packs) and Salsa
Quaker, including Instant Quaker Oatmeal, Captain Crunch, Life, Tropicana Pure Premium and Gatorade
Dial, including Dial Bar soap, body wash and liquid soap, Purex Detergent and Renuzit
Hershey Candy, including Kit Kat, Jolly Rancher and Ice Breakers

If I am not mistaken, Albertsons will probably only carry Full Frame versions of those films if they are seperate releases. I think Shrek 2 has seperate releases, not sure about Elf.

Could always swap it for a wide screen version. Or just keep it, free is free, even if it's full screen.

I got in the mail coupons for albertsons. They are $8 off purchases of $40 or more.

There are about 6 on mailer card and they expire 10/31 . So keep an eye out for them in the mail! I think they came about a week ago.
