I have a question for anyone who has seen the free Resident Evil: Apocalypse movie ticket that comes with the Resident Evil Deluxe Edition DVD:
Is it "Movie Cash" (which is good at Harkins but not at AMC Theaters) or is it something else that is good at AMC Theaters for up to $7.50 (matinees are $6.50 I think)?
I live within a mile of an AMC Theater complex but I'm almost 10 miles away from Harkins. Knowing where the ticket is good at does make a difference to me on borderline purchases (because I already own the previous Resident Evil DVD and it sounds like this release only adds a handful of extras).

I picked up the 5-Star Die Hard (I didn't know there was another one) and Donnie Darko for $15. They didn't want to do it, but I pointed out that there is no other version of Die Hard available and he gave it to me...

After looking around some websites, it looks like there is a bare bones Die Hard coming out on Tuesday with a $14.95 MSRP.
http://entertainment.circuitcity.com...=FOX2223349DVD
So maybe this is what they are referring to in their ad?

asianxcore, I already know that moviecash is good at Harkins and not at AMC Theaters from their web site. I'm trying to find out before Tuesday and before I try to buy Resident Evil Deluxe Edition it if it's Movie Cash (like Predator) or some other ticket type I could use at AMC.
I think I'll make a new thread so more people will see it.

i asked on Sunday, and my local bb said that they were putting them out Tuesday morning along with the new releases. funny the circular didn't mention anything about it being available ON tuesday. oh well, each store may have a different strategy on that one.

Good stuff today at BB. Clerks X only rang up at $19.99, and I used the $5 off coupon for Jersey Girl. I bought Ladykillers also so it gave me $5 off that (for buying Ladykillers and JG) to make that $12.99. Finally, on the Sky Captain dvd, it has a coupon for $5 off some Paramout titles. I used that to pick up The Saint. So my receipt looked something like this:
Clerks X $19.99
Jersey Girl $14.99
Ladykillers $12.99
The Saint $4.99
Also, Murder on the Orient Express is $10 in store, as opposed to the $13 it shows on the website. My BB had a sign up for Star Trek and had no copies on the shelf.

Clerks at Best Buy rang up for $19.99 when i paid for it, there's also a $5 off coupon on the package itself that can be used on Jersey Girl right there, making it $14.99.
