So does "Offer valid up to 10 times per order" mean you're not allowed to order more than 10 Universal titles at a time?

yeah..10 per order.. i guess if you want 15.. gotta place two orders (which really doesn't matter ...over 3 is shipping for free..except you can't use the $10 off $125 coupon exclusively on the 8.99 universal discs....because it wouldn't be enough ..but i guess if you ordered other stuff it'd be okay..)

DVDEmpire has been excluding coupon usage on these type of sales. Yes, free shipping should be valid on 3 or more DVDs, but I doubt the coupons will work.

Unless I can use the coupon, I'm limiting myself to Road to Perdition, Touch of Evil, and either Twins or They Live!

Looks good to me... Although with several titles (Jurassic Park) listed as On Order I hope those are not being re-released with revised (crappy floating heads added) cover art such as had been previously done with 1941, U-571, etc.

It's good for catching up on some of those Jimmy Stewart westerns.

Night Passage
The Far Country
Destry Rides Again

Looks like I was wrong about the coupons not working. Just tried it and the coupon did appear to apply to the order. I didn't complete it but the coupon discount was there. Also you can add more than 10 sales titles to your cart. Now would DVDEmpire cancel an order if you had over 10 DVDs from the sale? A larger order would of course allow you to use the $10 coupons.

I just completed an order and used the 5.00 coupon and it looks like it went through. Seems like so long since I have ordered anything from them. All the titles I ordered were in-stock.

Well, not that much cheaper than DDD, but went ahead and got a took a nosedive to get a bunch of these (mostly older titles) that I have had on the wishlist for awhile.

The coupons seem to work just fine.

Thanks OP

Lots of great titles in there, including the recent film noir releases (Criss Cross, This Gun For Hire etc).

Thanks for the heads up!

Cool, only saw two titles I wanted, and those were the two I don't have from the noir line Marty mentioned.
Thanks.

is there much of a difference with this deal and deepdiscount? looks like there is only about a .60 cent difference...without the tax...

A good portion of the ones in the $8.99 sale either are often or will be in the future part of the 3 for $20, 2 for $15 deals that are offered at B&M stores whilst others will likely drop to that price point before too long for those that don't need them right away.

There are some that likely won't apply to if one chooses carefully but keep in mind that others could be had in the future cheaper if you are willing to wait.
