Simpsons Season 1 - $9.99 @ Wal-Mart (not verified)

Yesterday a friend of mine reported that he had seen the Simpson's Season 1 at Wal-Mart for $9.99 (Wal-Mart in Palatine, IL). I haven't verified if it was true. But he told me that I was fired as his personal internet shopper since he purchased it last week for $14.99 at overstock.com in a deal that I told him about . So I believe it is a credible source. The Wal-Mart website still lists it at $28.88. As usual with Wal-Mart, your mileage may vary.

It makes sense. He buys the one for 10 bucks, uses that unopened copy to return it to Amazon and get the 15 bucks back, so he saves the 5 dollars. Yes?

Just came from the Wal-mart in Sioux City, IA (twice) and Simpsons season 1 is still normal price. There was no mis-price at that store.

don't forget that he has to pay for the return shipping so I'm not even sure it's worth it to save like $2-$3.

Well, not too much sense, seeing as he originally bought it from Overstock
