I loved Haunted Tank and enjoyed his other DC war comics work (like Weird War which I read this past week). I also like A Sailor's Story which was a more personal piece of his work.

Rest in peace, Sam. You've earned it.

Yeah, I used to read a ton of Haunted Tank. Not familiar with his non-war stuff.

RIP.

I knew his Charlton work. I never knew he worked for DC on Haunted Tank. I never read the title and I assumed the artwork was done by Kubert and Heath.
