Anyone want to lend me $140? I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to resist this Dark Horse sale on the old Creepy and Eerie. Almost 10,000 pages of classic horror.

Good advice, hopefully I'll take it, or pass on the lot, realizing that I don't have enough years in me to read what I already own. Ha, like that could happen....

Well, this IS Trevor we're talking about. If he reads one volume of each series this month, I think he'd feel fine about the purchase. #enabler

So why buy them now instead of waiting until I might actually read them?

I assume everyone here is aware of Halloween ComicFest today:
http://www.halloweencomicfest.com/Home/1/1/78/1138
Free comics just like Free Comic Book Day at your local stores, most of them with horror themes of some kind.

My wife scored some books for me while I was working. My local shop typically only gives out one or two at the most, but I guess the sight of a beautiful woman in the store shocked them enough to let her get out of there with 9 books for me.

There was a comic con in town yesterday and they had the Halloween comics out for free. so I grabbed a few for my kid.

I totally forgot about this until just now. Oh well, still got a few days to read some of the free comics online. I wish I still had my Sleepwalker comic.

I just remembered, I have a Godzilla #1 from the newer Dark Horse run. Would that count? Got it at Pittsburgh ComicCon last year.

The Horror sales continue to soak up all my overtime money. Tonight, a sale on old EC stuff and an Avatar zombie bundle started.

Since there are only a few days left in October, what are the thoughts on doing this again next month? It would be comedy, right?
I don't have as many funny funny books in my backlog, but I do have some underground comix type stuff that probably fits with it. Plus a bunch of Barks/Rosa Duck stuff.

We could just follow every Challenge I guess. I'm in! I'll work on some ideas and maybe spice things up with goals or themes or something.
