Re: Comic/Super-Hero Sheep NOW!

Entry sent. This is the first game I've gone all-in slam dunk wise. I hope I chose the right question to do it with.

I gave an answer, but I have no belief that anyone will match the answer I gave.
Lucky me that I collected the Valiant titles when they came out. And they are supposed to be starting up the line again. The hard one was the Secret Wars question. And I hope my answer is not an incorrect answer for the Spider-man costume question.

Some of those are really subjective. Best cleavage? That depended on the artist.

That question proved difficult for me too. I came up with an answer, but have little confidence in it. I'm sure there's some super obvious answer that I'm just oblivious to ("How could you forget Magnifico Man who rides into battle on his unicorn?!?!"). You'd think for all the super characters who have animals in their name that more would actually have said-animal pal around with them.

The line started up over the summer. It's getting pretty good reviews.

I agree, but there's one canonical answer that all true comic nerds should get.

Re: Comic/Super-Hero Sheep NOW!

OK, I know almost nothing about comic books unless they've been made into TV shows or movies. I also don't understand a lot of the questions, but...

Can I possibly do worse at this game than I did in sheep games where I actually did know a lot about the subject? I just have to find out! I have sent in a list of really bad answers that I spent less than 10 minutes thinking about. Let's see what happens!

Oh and this is my first ever post in the comic book forum, which adds even less to my credibility!

Answers submitted. My back issue purchases from this weekend definitely helped me.

Okay, I have 18 now. Ill take a few more and then close it off…as usual, it is open to former sheep masters even after it is full.

As it should be.

But don't count on it. I feel pretty comfortable with the reverse sheep questions, but I'm such a comic book nerd that I tend to overthink the Sheep questions. "Oh, everybody knows that the best Kryptonian is Dev Em. He's a bad ass!" Well, yeah, maybe, but nobody remembers him besides me and everyone else went with Superman or General Zod.

I found myself doing that on a couple of the sheep questions. I had to remind myself that an answer that I think is obvious is maybe kind of obscure to most people.

Re: Comic/Super-Hero Sheep NOW!

It doesn't bode well for me that there were a number of questions I could only think of one or two answers (especially the reverse sheep). Though as a hetero male, I'm glad that #10 is something I never cared to put thought into.

I just looked at that question again and I think I put a DC character

My comics knowledge is pretty basic, but I sent in answers anyway. Maybe it'll keep someone who know their shit from being bummed about coming in last.

Re: Comic/Super-Hero Sheep NOW!

I think I've gotten most of my info on Valiant and Image from this board though I did read a Valiant TPB a little while ago.

Secret Wars--read the TPB a few years ago and was bored so I don't remember any of the villains.

Guardians of the Galaxy--I'm familiar with the team but decided to take a blind shot at a more Sheepish answer.

Hopefully "I don't know" is a popular sheep answer in this one!

Nobody answered my earlier question, but I am seriously curious ... does "I don't know" or "no idea" match in sheep? (or are those kinds of answers given 0 points)

I just looked at that question again and I think I put a DC character
I may have messed up that question by putting down a popular bad-ass ... instead of a character who's rich and/or a pretty boy. Then again, you'd think the female character would be more the bad-ass type.

I hope the game doesn't start too early on Monday. I won't be able to look at the computer until ~3 pm. I have funny Aquaman pictures I want to work in there.

I always look at it as, if there are no wrong answers in sheep, then "I don't know" is as good of an answer as any and group them up.
