I haven't been able to get this to work recently, what's the trick?
Previously the buy one get one code treated sale items as their original price for the coupon. For example the Remender Venom volumes normally sell for $24.99 and could be paired with another $24.99 title to get both for Remender's $7.99 sale price if the non-sale item was credited as the freebie (which seems random at times). However lately it seems like Comixology changed their coupon programming to use the actual post sale price for BOGO coupon so I've only been able to get $7.99 sale items to make $7.99 or less titles free (which is still a good deal)

I tried this, but maybe because it's a linewide sale it kept giving me the $7.99 volume for free. Maybe I needed to play more with the order in which the titles were added to the cart. I still got a good deal with four $20-25 books for four bucks each.

Comixology sent out a 30% off coupon Monday; not sure if it's a targeted/limited promotion but check your emails. Email title was "Cure your case of the Mondays."

It says it's good until 3/27. Perhaps that's to make up for the lack of a DC sale this week.

Got the coupon myself. Used it on some Indy titles that never go on sale.

Comixology still hates me

Oddly, it looks like I haven't gotten any promotional mails from them since January, but my account shows I'm signed up for them.

I was "blessed" with a code. Used it to buy a bunch of wishlist small press independent books that pretty much never go on sale.

Amazon has a bunch of Guardians of the Galaxy/Star Lord collections at half off, like the first Abnet-Lanning volume for $5.50.

Also a number of Epic Collections are are the same price as they were in the recent Comixology BOGO.

And just another remember to anyone not sure about Rebirth titles, you can borrow them for free on Hoopla. I think all the first trades have been released there already, and unfortunately I like them all.

Hoopla is extremely limited though. It's not available to most people.

Ah I didn't even realize the later issues were 1.99. Did they stop the practice of discounting their issues by a buck a month after release, because I thought that was regular price for backissues. I might pick up th pre rebirth trades though.

IDW Disney sale through 4/30. I'm not as much a fan of this era as I am the Barks/Rosa/Gottfredson stuff, but the 75th anniversary collection is a nice deal at 138 pages for $1.99.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

The pricing seems odd on some of these Disney titles. For instance you can buy each issue of the MAgic Kingdom series for 99c, or the collection that has the two issues for 2.99. Am I missing something here?

Yeah, other companies sometimes have oddities in pricing like this too. I always compare page count totals, sometimes the collections add or take away content. In this case, iirc, I bought the singles.

Also fwiw, they added some titles since the sale initially posted.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

All the Spider-man Masterworks volumes on sale for $4.99 each for the weekend. They collect roughly 11 issues each, the first 192 issues (plus annuals and a few other miscellaneous appearances).

When available at both places, I've been buying mostly from Amazon so that I have it in Kindle and Comixology libraries for the one price.
