A few of the Top Shelf mini bundles from the big sale are still active; Lost Girls, Bacchus, American Elf amongst them.

A new bundle from Avatar just appeared, issues 1-12 of David Lapham's Dan the Unharmable for $11.99, unknown duration.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Not sure if this counts as digital or physical (or even a deal), but I'll put it in both threads.

Dollar Tree (the best of the dollar stores because they don't lie in their name) has a couple of comic compilations in their latest round of DVDs:

Scooby-Doo! Classic Comics vol 1 - 20 books from the 70s on CD-Rom
Classic Looney Tunes Comics vol 1 - 20 books from the 70s on CD-Rom

Their last batch of books also included the Bill Willingham paperback novel, Down the Mystery River, with illustrations by Mark Buckingham.

Nice, I used it to pick up two recent first issues that were $1.99 each to see if I would want the trades.

Good deal from Image, gave the first issue of Outcast a try. Downloading a pdf way quicker than Thrillbent which takes forever for me.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Anyone get the Skybound Humble Bundle email ?
https://www.humblebundle.com/thewalkingdead

Here is a quick overview on the Skybound Humble Bundle:

1) Download the first three issues of The Walking Dead ABSOLUTELY FREE.

2) Name your price for The Walking Dead, Vol. 1, Invincible, Vol. 1, Witch Doctor, Vol. 1 and Ghosted, Vol. 1. If you pay more than the average price you'll also get The Walking Dead, Vol. 2 & 3,Thief of Thieves, Vol. 1, Invincible, Vol. 2, Super Dinosaur, Vol. 1 & 2, Clone, Vol. 1 and Manifest Destiny, Vol.1.

3) Pay $15 or more to get all of the above plus The Walking Dead, Vol. 4 & 5. Pay $40 or more and we'll throw in The Walking Dead, Vol. 20 and an exclusive The Walking Dead T-shirt, available ONLY through this bundle.

4) For diehard The Walking Dead fans, paying $65 or more will get you the entire bundle and our special Black & White Negan Action Figure from McFarlane Toys, while supplies last.

Again, all comics are digital and DRM-free, so you can enjoy them right away on whatever device you like.

^ Crap, did I forget to post that? It's been up for about a week I think.

The transformers bundle has added some books too.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

A new cosmic sale today only (8/4/14) for Marvel on Thanos.

https://www.comixology.com/Thanos-Sa..._Monday_Thanos

All 18 issues of the Infinity Trilogy, all 12 issues of the Thanos 2002-3 series, and 40 misc. issues over the years with cosmic. Appearances.

I have always avoided cosmic marvel, meaning to get into it 'some rainy day'; but I'll need 40 of them to finish all this new reading from these constant cosmic sales.

Yeah, I sorta jumped into the deep end of the Cosmic part of Marvel (after pretty much ignoring it for my whole life) because of Guardians of the Galaxy. Between last weeks Cosmic sale and today's Thanos sale...my wallet is angry.

EDIT:
Speaking of the GOTG Sale, it looks like they've extended it. Probably because of how well the film did at the Box Office. It now ends 8/5

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

From IDW, a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sale until 8/11/14.
https://www.comixology.com/Teenage-M...Sale/page/2964

And the usually weekly Tuesday DC sale appears to be Vertigo's DMZ, just the collections.
https://www.comixology.com/DMZ-Sale!...rtigo_DMZ_Sale

I'm on vacation the next several days, so don't be surprised if I miss some things or even don't post at all.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

I'll try to help. There's a new Humble Bundle from Boom. The current average is $9 something, but giving $15 or more gets you more stuff.

https://www.humblebundle.com/books

So far it includes Mouse Guard: The Black Axe, 6 Gun Gorilla, Planet of the Apes, The Lumberjanes, Robocop, Sons of Anarchy and more, with more titles to be added.

I'm not jumping on it yet. If they add Irredeemable and Incorruptible I might go for it.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

I've been keeping an eye out for deals, but I haven't really seen any in the last few days. I just spotted this one, but that's it.

Comixology has Genius #1, from Top Cow's 2008 Pilot Season for free.

There's a Nova sale going on today for the 2007-2010 volume. For some reason the Marvel app is missing issue 9 but, you can find it on comixology for $0.99. Also, the first 9 issues of the Marvel Now volume.

Something that I just noticed from looking at my receipts. When buying from the Marvel app you're charged through iTunes and pay sales tax. Buying directly from comixology you pay no sales tax.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

There's a pretty cool deal on the Archie app if you're a fan of their comics. 100 free comics, including a bunch of Life With Archie, Kevin Keller stuff, some Archie Meets Kiss and the complete Lil Archie/Tiny Titans crossover by Art Balthazar and Franco.

No Afterlife with Archie, unfortunately. Many of the comics are actually digests, so you're actually getting a lot more than 100 comics.

Thanks for filling in everyone. Only other thing I see is a weekend Dark Horse sale on Usagi Yojimbo.

https://digital.darkhorse.com/genre/170/?page=1

And a couple days ago I noticed two new freebies when I hit "add all to cart" on the freebie page.
