I'm tempted by Stray Bullets alone (as I have a lot of the other stuff already). Is that the complete series?

That Invincible compendium is worth $20 alone for those who don't have it.

That Secret Wars sale is one of the worst ones I've ever seen from Marvel.
Oh boy, discounting those books down to $3.20 or $4.00 an issue. How are they going to make any money on that? They're practically giving them away!

It's everything that is in the compendium. There have been two or three mini-series since then.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Archie app is advertising 70 free comics for a limited time.

Here's the trick. They have a new app. I got a ton of free comics via their previous app a while ago, and I never wanted to delete it because there wasn't an account to back up my "purchases." The new app does have an account attached to it, but all the iTunes reviews say that issues from the old app weren't restored. It's not a big deal to me because they were all free, but it's still lame. I haven't downloaded the new one yet but I don't expect them to fix that so I'll probably just get it at some point.

Wool: The Graphic Novel Omnibus from Jet City is on sale again until 1/17/16. It's from Palmiotti and Gray, so it has to be good.
https://www.comixology.com/Wool-Sale/page/9426

From Image until 1/18/16, a Michael Moreci sale (Roche Limit, Hoax Hunters, and Hack/Slash). Six $3.99/$4.99 collections and thirty $.99 singles. Remember with Image, usually, the single issues have more material than the collections.
https://www.comixology.com/Roche-Limit-Sale/page/9424

From Archaia until 1/19/16, a sale on four volumes of Spera, $5.99 instead of $12.99 each.

DC finally has a good sale this year, Legends of Tomorrow has a hodgepodge of all kind of old and new titles, 243 (!) books at $.99 each until 1/25/16.
https://www.comixology.com/Legends-o...Sale/page/9407

Buffy birthday sale until 1/25/16; not up at Dark Horse proper yet.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Dark Horse use to have very reasonable sales but it seems like ever since they've added to the Comixology storefront discounts have been less generous. The current $2 off Buffy trade items is lukewarm at best. They did just have the annual 50% off everything sale (this time excluding bundles and without additional discount code) but other than that offerings have seemed sparse. They must have had turnover in their marketing department or something.

Yeah, they've sucked since the merger.

At least they just put up a Buffy Bundle, 163 books for $100.

And that Comixology sale is now on their site too. I think there are some differences, but I don't really feel like checking.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

I continue to be amazed by DC just mixing and matching pre and post new 52 stuff in their massive sales. Not that I mind, just seems curious.

Can anyone recommend (or not) the new 52 Firestorm, Demon Knights, or the post Johns issues of Hawkman/Hawkgirl?

Their sales do seem quite haphazard at times, but I like it that way too.

I can recommend Demon Knights from the new 52. Wait, I guess I can recommend it if you obsessively collect every DC appearance of Etrigan and Madame Xanadu. I still haven't read a single panel despite owning it all physically and digitally.

The Image bundle now includes Saga 5, which I haven't picked up yet. More reason to tempt me.

It's cool that they added it, but I'm sure I'll still buy the physical version too. My wife also reads Saga, but she doesn't have a tablet for reading.

I guess I should probably buy her one at some point.

I caved on the Image Humble Bundle when I checked on it and found it had a half-hour to go.

This might be the first week Comixology had absolutely nothing I wanted on sale.

It looked like a great deal. Only problem for me is that I had pretty much already cherry picked everything in it that looked interesting from Comixology line-wide sales.

If I could go back in time, I think I'd buy almost nothing from Comixology except for Marvel and DC. The various bundle sites seem to have covered almost everything I like from Image, Dynamite, and Valiant.
