X-Men Forever?

Anyone reading X-Men Forever? I'm really curious since the start of that X-Men series is when I got into comics and loved the way that series started out (and mostly Jim Lee's artwork).

Since Claremont is continuing where he left off, I'm really curious about it and wondering if anyone thinks it's worth reading. I'm tempted to buy the first volume.

Re: X-Men Forever?

I've been picking this up since it came out. I think it's been pretty good so far and usually makes its way near the top of my read pile when I get the new issue.

Re: X-Men Forever?

I ended up buying Volume 1 and read it last night. I even dug up the issues of X-Men #1 and #2 to read again to remember what was happening. Kind of an interesting continuation, and I like what they did with Fury and making Cortez pretty bad ass. It was weird that Kitty Pryde and Nightcrawler show up all of a sudden and a bunch of the other X-Men members aren't even mentioned.

They didn't put X-men 1 and 2 in the trade?

Nope; it looks like they had a separate release called X-Men Forever Alpha that covered those events.
