What to read?
Each month I buy my comics from dcbservice and generally get the same comics. I'll browse all of their main distributors and some of the indies and pick up a couple of comics that I would not usually get. I was wondering if anyone knew of a "Recommended picks" site that has some other comics to check out each month. There are so many independent titles and so many from the big 4, that I would hate to miss something that is garnering good reviews.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: What to read?
DC's Vertigo line has a few a creator-owned series that are absolutely amazing. There's FABLES and JACK OF FABLES, NORTHLANDERS, DMZ and SCALPED.
Marvel's very limited ICON line has INCOGNITO and CRIMINAL.
Avatar Press puts out DOKTOR SLEEPLESS, ANNA MERCURY, CROSSED, ABSOLUTION, etc.
Other publishers to check out: BOOM!, IDW, and Dynamite. (I'm assuming your "Big 4" are Marvel, DC, Dark Horse and Image. IDW is officially the third biggest.)
This is a good site for indy comics news: http://indycomicnews.net/

Re: What to read?
Cool, thanks. I'll keep an eye out on some of those.
It's not even so much regular monthly series, so much as short run comics. They've got weekly recommendations at http://www.acomicshop.com/web/toppicks/index.htm that I are something like I used to see at my local comic shop and this guy http://www.weeklycrisis.com/ has some things that I may miss if I weren't looking out for them. Comics that I may not have thought to check out, but won't break the bank if I pick them up for a few issues
