Does the Complete Calvin & Hobbes include any of the new material created originally for the previous collections and treasuries?

Also, here's a few goodies not in the Complete C&H.

Paperback collection arrived in the mail. Looks really solid. For $40 I'm quite happy.

My box from B&N arrived today but the books weren't in there. Instead I got some Sotheby's catalogs that are free ???, word search puzzles and education books galore.

Have I been gone so long I can't make images show up?

C&H fans might enjoy these. (I know I did). It's C&H photoshopped into real life photos.

I miss those two...

Here's the trailer for Dear Mr. Watterson, a documentary about Calvin & Hobbes. (I spoilerized it because it's an autoplay).

Unsurprisingly, Watterson didn't participate. Apparently, it will play at some festivals next month then get released on DVD/BR.

Autoplay indeed! I was wondering where that music was coming from!

Bumping not to mention Comic Strip Sheep, but to note the Watterson-styled illustration of his commencement speech that's been making the rounds lately. I can definitely relate to this.

This is kind of random, but I just noticed that the Essential, Authoritative, and Indispensable Calvin and Hobbes books are available as Kindle Comic Books now.

This became available yesterday, at least for streaming. Noticed it while I was flipping through VUDU.

Re: Calvin & Hobbes Books [incl. Complete] merged

I caught 'Dear Mr. Watterson' in the theater yesterday. I'm not sure who the audience for the film is, as it explains things any fan of the series already knows. And, while it looks great, there really isn't a whole lot to be said about the strip (or Watterson). I'd say it's worth a rental or cheap stream at best. I don't regret seeing it, I just think it wasn't entirely necessary and somewhat seems like a first film.

Also, the December issue of Mental Floss magazine has an interview (!) with Watterson. Here's a preview: http://mentalfloss.com/article/53216...bill-watterson

That interview was a terrible letdown. It's like 2 pages and it seems like an introduction to an interview that never occurs. There's a few quotes from Watterson amidst information that anybody would know.
