This was recommended to me, so I'll probably start it later tonight.
Edit: removed the image, it was way too big and I don't know how to resize it.
The book is The Lathe of Heaven - Ursula K Le Guin

This is a re-read. Despite it not being that long ago when it came out, when looking to tackle the rest of the series I found my memory pretty much had no details of this first book. [Though just beginning The Twelve, I liked seeing the author start with a nice little synopsis getting everyone up to speed]
I was warned that The Twelve isn't that good, so expectations set appropriately low

I think a lot of people look back at The Passage with rose-colored glasses. I read the trilogy back to back recently and felt the quality was comparable across all three.

I can easily see how the story structure angered/frustrated some readers right off the bat.

One of the reasons that I haven't read The Twelve yet was because it's been so long since I've read The Passage. It's on my to read list, but it's been on there for quite a while. I need a good summary of what happened in the first book to start the second one.
Haven't posted what I've read in a while and even though I definitely slowed down, here's what I've read since my last update:
