The Lord of the Rings: One Volume $5.00
http://www.amazon.com/Lord-Rings-One...dp/B007978OY6/
Has anyone read this? It contains all three LOTR books. I was wondering what the quality of it was.

Re: Amazon Kindle Deals (daily or otherwise)
One review for the Kindle version says "All three complete volumes, plus the appendices and all the maps and illustrations."
Edit: I'll be the guinea pig. Confirmed that it has all the books, the maps, appendices, prologue, notes, etc.
Page numbers aren't a very accurate way to tell, since the page counts for the individual books correspond to three of the countless printed versions, and the page count for the whole thing corresponds to some completely different printing.

Re: Amazon Kindle Deals (daily or otherwise)
For free in the UK
Hungry Ghosts (Time, Blood and Karma Book 2)
And probably at the .com, .com.au and ca Amazon sites.
For cheap in the UK
Dyed in the Wool (DC Scott Cullen Crime Series Book 4)
I believe that the first of these novels is still available for free.
The Confession (Mike Daley/Rosie Fernandez Legal Thriller Book 5)
Back up to its regular price in a few days which may be true of various of the frees and cheapies I've posted of late.

Re: Amazon Kindle Deals (daily or otherwise)
Here's another:
Justice for Hire: A Private Investigator Mystery Series (A Jake & Annie Lincoln Thriller Book 3)
As always, check out the reviews and make a personal decision whether it is worth the time and effort.
And if you're not in the UK, play with the URL to see whether replacing co.uk with
com
com.au or
ca
works for you.
EDITED just to add that the first book in the series is still free in the UK (& maybe elsewhere)

I seem to have this in my library so someone may already have posted it in the thread months ago.

Re: Amazon Kindle Deals (daily or otherwise)
Briton Jim Williams writes across a variety of genres and appears to garner mostly favourable reviews. This title is currently free in the UK:
Farewell to Russia: A Pyotr Kirov Detective Novel
As always, you can experiment with the URL to check the price in a variety of other markets. I would anticipate that it will be free in the usual places.
Methinks the time is nigh for a 2015 thread of such deals... maybe this will be the last entry for 2014...
