Star War ebook catalog - June 28

All of the previous Star Wars novels are coming to ebook format on June 28. Amazon already has a bunch up for preorder on the Kindle. I'm not sure what other formats are coming.

Can't wait to read the Thrawn Trilogy and X-Wing series again!

Eh...not sure I can get onboard with ebooks yet. I still love reading a book, seeing how much further I have to go. And I have a nice collection of Star Wars novels and just like adding to it.

I mean physically holding a book, flipping through the pages.

Having owned a Kindle for a year and a half now, and still reading physical books every once in a while, I don't miss that feeling in the least. I actually don't like going back to them.

I might finally check out the Thrawn trilogy, $7.99 for each volume is decent. Same price as the MMP.

Re: Star War ebook catalog - June 28

Glad someone already posted the news. Before, Amazon and Barnes & Noble only had a few recent SW ebooks. Cool news, about time.

I probably will order the FotJ ebooks from amazon after the series finishes.

SW I've read recently:
- Corellian Trilogy: was ok, really liked centerpoint station part.
- first Darth Bane book, first half was good, but kinda got boring later. Not sure if will read second book.
- first Bounty Hunter Wars book - gave up after trying to get thru the first third of the book.

I'd like this to be moved to the star wars news thread.

I felt the same way, but I thought the second and third Bane books were much better. Really looking forward to Karpyshyn's book about Revan.

Re: Star War ebook catalog - June 28

I wish there was some killer deal for these new ebooks. Like, buy 50 Star Wars ebooks for $50 or something. I'd like to unload my paper copies of these books just to save some space, but not unless I can get an awesome price for the digital versions.

Me too. I own the ones I liked, and sold the ones I didn't. I wish there was a bundle option, but I'm not holding my breath.

Looking forward to the X-Wing series, the Thrawn books, and a few others. Thanks for posting this!

I agree....would like to have seen the various trilogies as one ebook for a discount.

Thrawn trilogy, Jedi Academy, Corellian, Dark Nest, etc..

Re: Star War ebook catalog - June 28

there's some free star wars ebooks (officially free not pirated). I have them in my barnes and noble cart but haven't downloaded them yet so I have no idea if they're worth reading

this site has links to pdf versions off of starwars.com

Re: Star War ebook catalog - June 28

lost tribe is pretty bad, even for star wars. But I think all of them at the end should have a small sample of some FOTJ books that might be interesting.
