Halfway through (and loving it):

It really isn't about trashing Britney. It's about a mother that understands life isn't forever and wanted to write about what she learned in life to leave it behind to her children. I am really loving it.

My first Hard Case Crime monthly book (I have 6 others I bought separately that I haven't started):

I am 20 pages in and REALLY liking it. I am so hooked it's not even funny.

Starting the Left Behind Series with book one of the prequel:

About five pages in, liking it so far.

Just finished, The Curious Incident of the Dog at Night-Time.

Now I'm reading Heartsick, by Chelsea Cain.

For easy, fun fiction i just started reading Lee Child's Jack Reacher series, and for the heavier stuff...

-love this blurb from the website...
"This is the worst idea for a book I've ever heard - it makes me want to vomit. The idea encapsulates the very worst part of Western thought. It makes a purely Socratic distinction about something that isn't intellectualizable." [One week later:] "I take it back - I'm sorry! This is great!"
— Joni Mitchell

and because i've come to detest my job i'm finally getting around to reading this...

Excellent book. As are most by this author. Summer of Night was one of the best horror books I have ever read.

You can't go wrong with either of those choices.

I bought a 1946 edition a few months ago. Unfortunately, the publisher chopped up the illustrations. Idiots.
