"Storm of the Century" - Screenplay by STEPHEN KING - how come no novelization yet?
I picked up the original screenplay for "Storm of the Century," which was a Made-For-TV special, and although I balked at the format of reading a screenplay, I was actually surprised that it was extremely readable.
However! I'm also surprised that it is still only in "screenplay-format," and that it hasn't been rewritten in "novel-format." Why do you think this is?

Perhaps it wasn't meant to be a novel?

Practically all screenplays are translated into novels. They call those kinds of books "novelizations."

But who would do the novelization? Stephen King? He already wrote it once.
