Hard boiled crime (Elmore Leonard, etc.)
Never thought I'd find myself here...the book forum...
Anyway, I recently came across a book called 'The Wheelman', a noir-ish novel about a deaf wheelman left for dead and out for revenge and really liked it. I also like Elmore Leonard books and loved 'Dirty White Boys' by Stephen Hunter.
What other action packed or noir crime books would you recommend to someone who doesn't read that much, but would like to do more of it?

For action, I'd recommend Lee Child and Barry Eisler.
For contemporary noir, I'd recommend Sean Doolittle and Victor Gischler.
There are a lot of good books in those areas, so there is plenty of fine reading to be had.

Eisler and Child both write series, so you might as well read the first ones: Rain Fall and Killing Floor respectively.
For Gischler, read Gun Monkeys. For Doolittle, try The Cleanup.
