Rich Dad Poor Dad
Sorry if this is a repeat, but I couldn't find it using the search option.
What does everyone think about "Rich Dad Poor Dad?"
Many of my friends are hailing it as the best thing since sliced bread, and are already plotting ways to use the strategies discussed. I haven't read it yet...I watched an informercial the other night that was for sale by the author of RDPD, and of course, my skepticism went through the roof when the guy started talking about no money down real estate and trend trading!
So, what impression have you gotten from this book? Is it worth reading, or just another scam?

I guess it is a good read and good to get you thinking about money.
Just know that it is a work of fiction.

It's not a bad book but a lot of the advice almost seems like common sense to me although most of the advice is stuff that you necessarily don't think about all the time. The book does a very good job of bringing all of that advice to the forefront and making you think about it when you make any financial decisions.

I did not find the book particularly well written, very redundant and basic advice is offered. I hear the other books in the series are better written (my wife has read a few). Best bet is a used copy of the library as you won’t revisit this one.
