Mine would be "With Malice Toward None", a biography of Abraham Lincoln by Stephen Oates. It's superb, possibly the definitive source on Lincoln right now.

Jackson Pollock: An American Saga
by: Steven Naifeh and Gregory White Smith
After viewing the phenomenal film, Pollock, starring Ed Harris and Marcia Gay Harden,
I picked up this biography.
I have read the book two times after picking it up about a month ago.
Jackson Pollock sure did have an interesting life.

I read No One Gets Out of Here Alive after seeing The Doors movie. I was surprised on how good it was.
Have a Nice Day by Mick Foley was terrific too. And I am not a big wrestling fan.
About 10 years ago, I read And I Don't Want to Live This Life by Deborah Spungeon (Nancy Spungeon's mother) It was about Nancy, Nancy's life, and Nancy's relationship with Sid Vicious. That was a pretty good one too.

My absolute fav has to be the Autobiography of Malcolm X.
Probably my second is one i can't remember the title of - but it was a bio on St Francis of Assisi - i'll have to try to find the proper name sometime.

by Omer Englebert?
note: I haven't read it, but it is on my recommended list from a friend.
