I read both The Alienist and The Angel of Darkness, and I noticed he has written a new one called Killing Time : A Novel of the Future.
Has anyone read this or reading this?
Any thoughts?
Is it as good as his first 2 (fiction ones mentioned above)?
Thanks for any suggestions/thoughts.

Killing Time
Well, it doesn't really matter whether you've read any of his books before ('The Alienist' was a superb book - I wasn't all that impressed by the 'Angel of Darkness') because 'Killing Time' is 'different'. It's set in the future and is reminiscent of a 'Captain Nemo' like adventure. It's an easy read, and I enjoyed it but don't get it because of the other 2. Hope this helps.

Killing Time as I remember was one I enjoyed mostly because of the range in Carr's writing. Not many authors can make a transition from historical fiction to science fiction successfully, and it's worth reading just to see it done. It's as good as the first two, but as Pmartyn said 'different'.
