This sale has been going on for days.

I got one of my initial 6 today is a simple baggie with no protection at all(I remember now why I rarely use FV. Why not just put the shipping label directly on the dsics and forego the extra piece of 2 mil plastic?

Order placed on 10th. At this rate maybe my who order will arrive my Memorial Day

How long does it usually take for Family Video to process an order? This was my first order with them, and it's still in the "processing" stage after eight days. Just wondering.

My order from the 14th is in the same boat. It also says "Please be aware this is a preorder.", which...no, these titles have been out for months.

Orders have been showing up without shipment confirmations. I think this sale overloaded them. You should be fine.

My package (1 out of 10 items over 2 orders) first scanned in Perrysburg, OH shipped via UPS-MI and hit MYUSPS notification when it actually was handed to USPS locally (so I got 8 hours notice of incoming package)

Well...I finally got the first (Blood and Black Lace) of three discs in yesterday.

It's a start. I checked on "My USPS," and it looks like another of the discs is due Monday.

Of 12 items over two orders, seven have arrived (unscathed) from three shipments.

Glad I already own Stray Cat Rock, because I doubt it would survive the trip in those mylar bags.

I'm up to 8 out of 15 from 2 orders. 1 baggie, 1 in Bubble mailer, and 6 in a nicely packed box. It appears I have another on the way for Friday tracking via MYUSPS though today's packaged never registered in the system.

Backtracing the tracking number showed it scanned everywhere, but unlike the other 3, MyUSPS ddin't add it to my list of incoming items.

EDIT: #9 of 15 showed up today (#2 of 7 from 2nd order)

Got a tracking number yesterday, and when I tracked the number on USPS, it said it hadn't been delivered to the post office yet. The order came in the mail this morning. Go figure.

Which site did you enter the tracking number? Most of these are being sent UPS-MI so they often don't get into the USPS system until UPS hands the disc to them which is often at your local PO (same day as delivery). If you are signed up with MyUSPS you can frequently see incoming packages well before they are handed to USPS for the first scan.
If you re-enter the number now when does it say USPS received the package?

Insert the tracking number at https://www.ups-mi.net/packageID/ and you will often see it's been in the system for days.

FV apparently uses Ingram Entertainment as their drop shipper like BBY/BN/Target, etc use Alliance Entertainment for most of their online order. Most Ingram packages originate out of Toledo/Maumee/Perrysburg Ohio, but I did get one today that started in Ingram/Memphis (east coast anyway). Looking at their website it appears that Ingram has distribution centers
in Toledo, Memphis, Baltimore, Chicago, Portland OR, and Orange CA. So far all the reported packages have seemed to started in Toledo with the one new Memphis

Re: Arrow Video sale at Familyvideo - titles start at $9.49

Got my first email notification saturday, from Family Video of a package shipping out. And today it arrived via ups, in a cardboard box. Got yakuza papers vol.1 and Outlaw Gangster (no damage). There was also a surprise padded envelop with dead-end drive-in (no damage), which i did not get notification about from Family Video. Turns out I got notification from UPS about these deliveries, and I received another email from UPS about a delivery tomorrow. I'm still waiting on crimes of passion and blood and black lace.
March 8th - ordered 9 blu's
March 16th - delivered 4 blus
March 27th - delivered 3 blus
March 28th - 1 or 2 blus?

how's the customer service at FV ? my 'Hired to Kill' copy came with the case smashed to pulp on the top, thanks to a plain polythene cover with no protection at all, that they tossed into to ship

Re: Arrow Video sale at Familyvideo - titles start at $9.49

If you call them, the CS is pretty good. If you try it via email -- very hit and mostly miss.
Since these are being dropshipped from a different entity that adds another layer of uncertainty.

So far I've received 4 packages (1/6/1/1 item) with 2 incoming.

2 baggies with singles, 1 padded envelope with single, and one nice box -- no shipment emails for any of those, but MYUSPS alerted me to 3 of the 4. One item just appeared out of thin air with no warning. So far all in good shape. Singles all shipped UPS-MI Parcel Select, the box came Media Mail

Incoming: I did get one shipment email for 3 more, and MyUSPS show another single incoming, Both of these registered as UPS-MI Parcel Select.

Best guess is that's 13 or 15 items from 2 orders (3/10 and 3/14). Since my 2nd order is now listed as complete, that likely means the unknown incoming is the last single left of that order.

That leaves VAMP and DRILLER KILLER outstanding

Thanks--that probably explains it. I had just checked the regular USPS site.

Well, that last ups notification yesterday was for the last 2 blus from my order on the 8th. Delivered today: crimes of passion and blood and black lace. No damage even though they came in a single mylar bag. Crimes had a slip too. Yeah the order took a while to ship completely, but prices were great-so im happy.
