Amazon DOTD: X-Files BD 1-9 + 10 $122.99
Still not gonna bite, I think it's gonna be cheaper. The event series sells for $19.99 leaving 1-9 for $103 or $11.45 a season.

I agree we might have seen the last site wide Fox Connect 50% off sale. But I suspect they will have 50% off (or more) sales on groups like TV and select movie franchises in the future. I would still wait on the X-Files unless you just have to have it this month. Especially if people are like me and have to pay sales tax at Amazon.

I'm going to pass at this price. I have the original series on DVD and access to streaming, and while I liked the new series, I don't have an urgent need to see it again. I'll check back in on BF.

I will hold off. I already have the event series and seasons 1, 2, and 6(?) that I bought for $9.99 each. I'll just fill in the rest of the gaps, however long that takes. $9.99 or less is my price point for each set. This DOTD comes to about $134.06 shipped, with tax, so it's just under $14 per season.

$7.50 a season at the FC sale
It didn't take long for this set to drop, which tells me it'd prob be under $90 within a year.
BTW I think they will sell a ton to "regular consumers" as it's a great price for the set, I just think it takes a lot to get us excited over prices

Yeah, awhile back I grabbed Season 2-6 for $7.50 each via Target's 50% off cartwheel deal. I grabbed up Season 1 used in minty condition and also freaked when I recently found both of the individual movies, "Fight the Future" and "I want to believe" for just $5.99 each at Zia Record Exchange a local reseller chain. I'll probably be able to finish this collection, with patience, for around $80. So, for me, that's a whole lotta dough for a large flimsy cardboard shell that will probably arrive dented up from Amazon anyway. These seasons will be far cheaper in the future.
Unfortunately, the inability for some of Fox's packaging to hold up to shipping or retail handling is a shame. I would have eagerly picked up "Lost in Space" recently but the copies available at Best Buy during a recent sale were so banged up I couldn't bring myself to purchase it and I have no doubt getting a set unscathed from Amazon are nil. I recently picked up the"Omen Collection" in that god-awful packaging at Best Buy. Thankfully, it was in perfect condition and it appears they abandoned the foam hubs in favor of sleeves—I think the box is slightly more rigid as well. I remember when it was originally released and I ordered it from Barnes & Noble. When it arrived, it was in the form of a pancake.

I picked up seasons 1-6 at Target back in January when they were $14.99 each.
A few weeks ago, I saw that Target had seasons 8, 9 and 10 (Event series) for $14.99 each as well, so I went ahead and got it. They didn't have season 7 for some reason.
I saw Amazon was selling 7 for $15.99, so I went ahead and got it.
Sure this set could go below $100 by November/December, but I'm happy with my purchase and I don't have to deal with another bulky box set. I still have the 1-9 DVD box set that's probably going to gather dust now.
I'm sure one of the big hesitancies from most of you in buying this Amazon deal is spending good money for something that you're probably not going to watch right away or anytime soon. Hell, the Event series (season 10) just aired in the Spring and I'm sure most in this forum has no urgency to re-watch it.

Paid $91 for the UK region free S1-S9 set on the recently concluded Prime Day sale at Amazon UK. This should hit $99 by BF if not earlier. Its on Netflix streaming now and the PQ is so darned good, can't wait to go on a BD marathon up to S6/S7. But S10 ?? No hurry whatsoever to see that one

I made a deal with myself that I would buy each season individually at whatever price and could not buy the next one (unless there's some fantastic price like the whole series for $50) until I finished the current one. Got S1 for $9.99 on Amazon on January 24th and it's still unopened. That includes watching every episode and the extras.
