Re: Walmart Black Friday 2015

Why does it feel like we've seen these movies before on sale at Black Friday? The stores aren't trying very hard anymore. Best Buy is killing the competition this BF.

Totally agree. The only one I'm slightly interested in is Aladdin. I'm hoping for some better titles than the ones pictured.

yup, its the same set of titles that the studios offer. and yes, almost the same as last years (and many even from two years ago). and the same strategy of BB pricing at 3.99 and WM countering with 3.96. Yaaawwwnnnn....

Re: Walmart Black Friday 2015

Sale is live. Grabbed:

Aladdin
Tomorrowland
Entourage

Sure Entourage is $2 cheaper at BB but they aren't live yet so for $2 I'll go on about my life and not worry about catching BB or Amazon at the right time to get it for $8.

Shit, false alarm. They showed all the sale prices when I clicked the link above(not working now), but when I put them in my cart they reverted to full price.

I'd definitely grab The Flash: The Complete First Season if it's that price.

Definitely.

I tossed it in my cart with the others (minus Entourage, BB is live and cheaper), and am refreshing periodically to see when it goes live.

Walmart's BF prices are live but it's a disaster. The site is crashing and things are already out of stock.

It was excruciating, but my order for The Flash went through for store pickup!

Re: Walmart Black Friday 2015

I can't even get anything to show for their BF prices. Can't even put anything in a cart.

Wife is having a similar issue with Target's BF online sale items. Can't get the sale price to show up when she places the order. It just reverts to the original price.

Re: Walmart Black Friday 2015

I should have just pulled the trigger on Aladdin and not fooled with trying to build my cart up for $50. This has been THE worst online shopping experience on BF ever.

What a waste of my time. My cart would never check out and now the items are gone.

The three I wanted (Flash, Aladdin, Tomorrowland) are all OOS. Bummer. The site is barely functioning.

Similar. I had Tomorrowland functioning in the cart and was trying to nab the others. Bad idea. Lost out on all 3 in the process.

Re: Walmart Black Friday 2015

What a fucking disaster. The site choked hard, the cart shit the bed , and when it finally decided to go through the items were out of stock. They kindly "saved them for later" so I can return next week and buy them at regular price. In their dreams.

Re: Walmart Black Friday 2015

I'm thankful that the Best Buy experience was so positive. It allowed me to laugh off all the troubles with Wal-mart's site. I can imagine that folks who stayed up specifically for a WM deal have every reason to be upset.

Re: Walmart Black Friday 2015

What angers me is that items sold out after three minutes. It's clear they only had a token amount of inventory for each item.
