You've got to be frakkin kidding me. I think you get the idea and can read it, at least I hope so. If you come up with a standard forum format for all OP's, perhaps you can submit it to the mods for consideration. Strain at a gnat.

Picked up Hope Floats, Never Been Kissed and Ever After for the wifey. For her they were VHS (yes my wife still has some) to Blu upgrades and she still was , "That's two Starbucks." for all of about 2 minutes. I think she realized after those two minutes she hadn't watched her tapes in well over 5 years and thanked me graciously.

I wish I would have found something for myself, but thanks to OP for the husband brownie points. And yes, I brought my wife a coffee as well.


One small note, these scan at $4, so no need to price match at your local Target or wait for an employee in the electronics section.

Yup, these automatically scan at $4 at the store. Picked up a couple myself along with the Penguins exclusive. Shelves not marked, but they reflect the sale at check-out. Have no idea why they didn't mark the shelves.

I like Starbucks once in a while, but I pretty much stick to the Keurig or go to Dunkin who is a LOT cheaper.

Anyway, my darling wife doesn't really see movies the same way that most of us on here do. She enjoys them greatly (and I like to think I've helped that along) but unfortunately its all considered light entertainment where a starbucks equals ice cream equals a bluray/dvd equals a 3ds game. Of course her collection is about 60-70 movies (and mostly chick flicks), and welp, my collection is closer to 1,000(and all over the place subject wise).

I'm just thankful I got these so cheaply, but then again I know better that if I'm going to "upgrade" her collection, I better keep it reasonable. I think if I found a movie that was her speed and it was from the Criterion Collection or Twilight Time, I probably should just ignore it ever existed. LOL.

That one really needs a new release. Should have got one along with Rocky, Rain Man, Robocop, TGTBU, etc. I thought for a second it did get one based on the copies at Target, but they just had one of those special "faceplate" paper covers over the old cover.

SIN CITY and WINTER'S BONE were also on the shelf locally and priced at $5... scanning/selling at $4.

It could be as simple as all blu-rays typically sold for $5 are on sale for $4. And none of them are marked.
