Re: Target deals

Now the site is looking to work but gives a "there's a line for this item." message when you try and add an time to your cart.

Re: Target deals

Yeah, it's been doing the same thing all day now. I can't imagine how much they have lost in sales today. To have your website down for one of the biggest shopping days of the year is crazy.

Re: Target deals

I got a Target.com order in at like 9AM this morning with no issue. Been trying to order something else for several hours and no luck so far.

Re: Target deals

The funny part is I tried calling them earlier since one of my $5 gift cards never arrived from one of my other preorders, and got a message that they were working on their phones and not taking phone calls at the moment. Pretty convenient they are working on their phone system when their website is down. Not sure why they don't put up an automated message saying they are aware of the issue and are working on it. They handled it the same way the day they announced the system breach with all of the stolen card numbers.

Re: Target deals

If you price match at Target, can you still get the 15% off discount?

Re: Target deals

Finally got my order of a bunch of $5 blu-rays through ($4.25 after CYBRER15 discount), but wow the Target website has been pretty much a huge fail ever since the first day (Nov 22) they posted their Black Friday week deals.

I'm just trying to preorder Minions 3D but I can't get through. This sucks.

Re: Target deals

If anyone has one of those 15% Target registry coupon codes that they aren't going to use, I could really use one today. I can trade an Amazon $5 gift card code for it.

EDIT: Mission accomplished, code no longer needed

Re: Target deals

I have a baby registry 15% coupon, not sure if that's the same thing you're looking for or not.

Yes, I think so! I believe all the registry coupons should work the same way. I'll PM you.

Let's see. I bet at 12:01am, everything will magically be in stock...but the coupon won't be valid.

"There is a line for this item."

So sorry for the delay, but you can save your place in line by staying on this page & trying again to add the item to your cart.

Thank you for your patience!
A line for mixing bowls? At 11pm?

Re: Target deals

I skipped out on everything except pre-ordering Hannibal S3 for $14.50 pre-tax. I got the same message like the one above, but I forgot I had put it in my cart last week when they had the 10% off code but never finished checking out.

Re: Target deals

I had a fun experience around 8-9 pm, I go to checkout and get the wait for this page to auto refresh message (i.e., the site is down message)...I take a shower, and wait a bit longer but it STILL has not auto refreshed (well over 30m has passed). I give up and try a clean attempt at entering the site by re-entering target.com into my browser URL bar...get to the site, try to add Adele 25 Target Exclusive, get the "this item has a line" message, so I try to search for the same product and click on the link again...got lucky, add a couple more items to my cart and check out and got lucky yet again as all the steps to check out still contain all the data I entered on my prior attempt to complete the purchase (that is actually awesome...it was a lot of data that I did not have to re-enter, including the Cyber Monday discount code), and I was able to check out.

I used a $30 GC my boss gave me before Thanksgiving, and ended up ordering merchandise that comes with $5 gift cards. Mission Impossible Rogue Nation pre-order comes with a $5 card, and I ordered two CDs which made me eligible for another $5 GC (Adele 25 and Alessia Cara both Target exclusives). So my total was about $10.50, and I have $10 in GCs to use...ultimately a happy camper but wow, the site was indeed jacked up yesterday.

I was also able to pick up the CDs during my lunch hour at the Pacific Commons Target, which was easy peazy.

Re: Target deals

Ordered Mad Men Final Season PT2 and waited 4 days to pick it up. Did NOT want to brave the crowds. It was so quiet today, I thought the store was closed.

Re: Target deals

My Target had Sin City: A Dame to Kill For for $5. The film isn't as good as the original but I think it's worth picking up for that price.

Pre-order for "The Martian"

The Martian (3D, Blu-ray, Digital HD) + $10 Target Gift Card $27.99
The Martian (Blu-ray, DVD) + $10 Target Gift Card $22.99
The Martian (DVD) + $10 Target Gift Card $19.99

Pretty good deal for a pre-order. Taking into account the $10 GC, and using my Target CC, I picked up "The Martian" for $11.84 (plus sales tax) shipped.

I just picked up $300 worth of gift cards today. I'll use one of them to preorder Martian 3D.

The pre-order deal for The Martian is pretty good. Might go for that.

Yeah. I went ahead and blind bought the 3D version. Never did get around to seeing it in the theater. By the time I paid for ticket, gas, popcorn, drink, etc., I am coming out ahead.

Re: Target deals

I preordered the 2D version. Figured that one has the better chance at a price drop on release week. I'll be happy in the $18 - $20 range.

Re: Target deals

I'm not gonna bite on this, regardless of the GC. It's still $12.99 (for 2D), and it'll be $9.99 in a few months, if not less.
