Re: Target deals

Did anyone else get a copy at Best Buy? Maybe it's just their copies?

I'm thinking so. And I suspect they are those smaller stickers that are much harder to get off rather than the larger grey ticket shaped ones that are there as a default at other retailers.

I got mine at Best Buy and the sticker on the slip did not have a code.

Re: Target deals

It looks like they are different. We were at Target today and I took a pic to compare once I got home. They are also worded differently.

Re: Target deals

I as just at the same Target and they all had the large grey sticker with no code. And maybe it's just my local store, but King Kong rang up for 7.99 even though it didn't have a sale tag on the shelf. Not bad even if you only get one ticket code from something inside the case.

If only Target had some deals to apply this too. There is a terrible paucity of such as evidenced by this thread.

Re: Target deals

The Infiltrator is currently $3.00 online. With the 15% Cyber Monday discount applied automatically, I made a blind buy for $2.73 shipped.

Re: Target deals

The Cyber Monday discount is great for Red Card holders. Lots of Blu-rays and music releases that never go beyond a certain discount are available the cheapest they will be all year. The problem is that Target doesn't carry everything like Amazon.

Re: Target deals

I don't see anything that's worth it even with the 15% and extyra 5% off.

Re: Target deals

Actually this works for preorders too and amazon has pricematched them. For instance lego ninjago movie, though the actual price may be cheaper on release week.

I just picked up the Gundam Wing boxset because it dropped another 15%, I think Target matched Amazon earlier, then Amazon matched the 15% additional off.

I had some things in my cart and they went up in price to negate the 15% over the last few days. I just removed everything. Kinda shady, imo. Happened with some Lego sets, a few movies, and clothes, and I just bought some of these on Amazon.

Re: Target deals

I don't think it's shady, necessarily. They didn't promise that the deals would be better than black friday, and if they had kept the black friday deals and had 15% off on top of that there would be lots of mad people (or people returning stuff). I see this more as a way to get a discount on the stuff that wasn't discounted on Black Friday and things that never have discounts (like Nintendo Switch controllers) and for that it's fine. I'm just surprised how on top of it Amazon is here.

Lego is not eligible for the 15% discount anyway.

I was going to grab The Infiltrator, but Target won't load with my VPN. Their loss.

Any Coke drinkers here?

https://us.coca-cola.com/5878-Target-Interact/

Enter 5 Codes from Coca Cola Beverages, Get $5 Target eGift Card. 1 per person/account. You'll receive the $5 code immediately via email.

I just scored "Inherent Vice" for 51 cents on Target.com. Disc was $5. Paid tax. Free shipping until 12/23.

Hacksaw Ridge
War of the Planet of the Apes
Baby Driver
Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie
Boss Baby
Kingsman: The Golden Circle
LEGO Batman Movie
Hidden Figures
Despicable Me 3

Re: Target deals

Nice sales on Dunkirk and LEGO Ninjago Movie. Some of those are DVD versions though (Hidden Figures, Despicable Me 3, and Big Bang Theory)

Wow, I rented both from Redbox and said I would wait until they hit $10 to buy. Not a long wait at all!

I simply cannot believe how good Dunkirk was and I'm kicking myself for not seeing it in the theater. I'm tempted to wait for a price drop on the UHD version now though.

Also, maybe the Kingsman exclusive with the whiskey stones will be $10. Looks like most stores in my area still have them in stock.
