Fry's just does not want to take my order, keep getting an invalid credit card error.

Ben, I just ordered some more movies and my credit card when through with no problem.

If you verified that your account number, expiration date, and pin number entered is correct, then I would suggest calling the credit card company to ensure the card is still valid from their perspective, ie: no hold on the card, credit card balance not reached, etc. Also, send an e-mail or call Fry's customer service and have them place the order for you. Then if there's something wrong with the card, the customer service person should see the error being returned. Good luck.

I got the same thing twice; I ended up using a different credit card and the second one went through fine.

When I finished up the transaction, I went to my email and there was a message from the declined credit card saying that they had refused the charge because they thought that it was fraudulent. If it was a valid transaction, I was to click a link. I clicked it, and they said that I could now try again with the vendor.

The credit card company behind all this was Chase. Any chance that they're the one who declined yours as well?

Re: Fry’s $9.99 3D Blu-Rays

Fry's originally indicated that the Transformers Blu-Ray 3D movie for $9.99 was only available for in-store pick-up. They are now allowing this movie to be shipped. Good news for me since there was no Fry's stores in Florida.

P.S. on checking further, it's Transformers 3: Dark Of The Moon, not the 1st Transformers movie that's the $9.99 Blu-Ray 3D movie.

Re: Fry’s $9.99 3D Blu-Rays

Don't know if anybody is interested in this or not, but Frys.com also has Takashi Shimizu's Tormented 3D (his follow-up to Shock Labyrinth) on sale on Blu-ray 3D for $3.99 plus $2.99 shipping. Here's the link:

http://www.frys.com/product/7568266?...H:MAIN_RSLT_PG

They also have Shock Labyrinth 3D on sale for the same price:

Sadako 3D, the latest entry in the Ring series of films, on Blu-ray 3D for $9.99 plus $2.99 shipping:

It's a cheap way to get your Japanese 3D horror film itch scratched.

Those are great prices, I paid about $15 for each of those thinking that was as low as they were gonna get. Can never get enough 3D!

Re: Fry’s $9.99 3D Blu-Rays

It was weird, my credit card company sent me a fraud alert and asked me if I had ever tried to buy anything from Fry's in Ohio.

But I guess it was for the best as I added Shock Labyrinth and Tormented, how can you say no for that price?

I got in my copy of TORMENTED yesterday. I popped it in to watch a few minutes of it.

Near the beginning of the film, there's a scene where a boy and his sister are at a movie theater, watching the director's previous film, THE SHOCK LABYRINTH, in 3D. In it, a stuffed toy rabbit floats out of the screen and right in front of the kid's face...and also into the middle of my living room. It's one of the two or three coolest uses of 3D I've seen at home--I had to pause the Blu-ray and marvel at the image floating about a foot from my face.

I feel like I got my money's worth out of the Blu-ray for that shot alone. I was laughing like a kid because it was SO. INCREDIBLY. COOL.

(Your mileage may vary.)

Sorry to say that the sale is over. The prices are back to the mid to upper 20's.

Re: Fry’s $9.99 3D Blu-Rays

Even though I told them that it was a legit transaction last week my card still declined it and it even locked my card when they tried to charge me today.

Was able to replace my order with them but they said that the wait list was too long for KungFu Panda 1 & 2.

Thanks Chase.

Re: Fry’s $9.99 3D Blu-Rays

I spoke to a Customer Service Rep and she said their Buyer continually makes requests to the Distributer (Paramount) for them to fulfill their orders but the Distributer is having problems filling these orders. Fry ordered 500 copies of each movie and she said there were 400+ orders for these films. Fry doesn't get paid until they ship these orders so they are anxious to get these orders shipped also.
