Assume that all of these are available to all customers unless specifically listed as member only like the Welcome Package. Also remember that any preliminary codes are just that and BN could pull it, change the details or exclusions anything prior to release so always a bit of YMMV until the final release date

Flight is $3.96 as a LD but it's a shitty movie, so I will pass.

Just grabbed Savages for $3.99 and Enemy for $8.98.

Unsure about Enemy though. One feature and the film. $8.96... dunno if I want it for that or not considering it is this week.

I doubt Enemy will go down even further and if it does it will be for $7.99, but if that happens within a few days I'll get back the difference. It's a win-win either way. Outside of the plane sequence in Flight the rest if a manipulative piece of shit.

I bought Flight for $14.99 at Columbia House, which was a decent deal at the time (I think it was a B2G1 or something like it). Wished I didn't have it, so I could have scooped it for $3.99. I was certainly present for the LD Prime Members Early Access (PMEA).

All 4 season sets of Spartacus from Starz is now $9.99 each. If you haven't seen it and or don't have Starz, that is one of the most badass gladiator action shows that was ever on TV. Absolutely worth $40 for all 4 seasons.

Is it really that good? I was interested in it during it's first season but never saw it and I just didn't care to see it again but I might check it out. What am I looking at feature wise in these sets? Does it have everything that that complete series set that is way expensive have?

The individual season sets have a ton of extras. And several of the episodes in each season set are director's cuts that didn't air on Starz.

The complete series that came out recently is selling for $94 for right now and has a few more extras, but nothing of major significance.

So $40 for all 4 seasons is worth it IMO.

If you are a fan of something like 300 and it's sequel, you will probably like this. Lots of nudity and violence and great characters IMO. You're probably aware the original Spartacus from season 1 passed away a few years ago.

You're basically watching a 39 hour R rated gladiator drama.

Bit on Gatsby, American Hustle, and Arthur Christmas.

I own three seasons of Spartacus and I've only watched parts of them, as it seems ridiculously over the top, even more so than 300. I should sit down and watch a bunch of episodes in a row to get a better feel for the series.

"Those who already have the single series releases of the show may find that this new reissue of Spartacus: The Complete Series isn't quite worth the double dip for three new commentary tracks and less than half an hour of new featurettes"

"Also new and exclusive to this set is a bonus disc that includes some new featurettes ..."

http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/65304...mplete-series/

If you like Arrow on CW, actors from Spartacus show up there.

It is always fun to see Nyssa al Ghul's jubblies and wearing a merkin. Christmas can come early and often.

That didn't really answer my question, but it's 12:25 pm EST now and I'm seeing Skyfall and Transformers as expired deals which tells me they ARE showing local EST times and I'd better fix my calender or I'll be a few hours late all around. Am I correct?

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray

I guess I'm confused. From my vantage point of your posts, you are already seeing EST starts to deals, which is what it should be for you. Are you thinking of setting your calendar to PST?

I guess I need you to break it down to me to its simplest form lol

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray

What I've been saying is that Amazon used to always list deal times as PST, meaning that if they said 1 pm, it meant 1 pm PST or 4 pm EST here in the future side of the country. Now it appears they're presenting the actual local time zone so people don't have to calculate time differences - me adding three hours, the fellow in Hawaii subtracting two - and if that's the case, I've had to readjust my appointments otherwise I'd be showing up three hours late.

Breaking Bad seasons are now $9.99. (Edit: Not all it seems; looks like S1 and S3 are ~$15.) Picked up S4 and S6.

Breaking Bad seasons are now $9.99. (Edit: Not all it seems; looks like S1 and S3 are ~$15.) Picked up S4 and S6.
Got it.

And just wait for Amazon to match those Breaking Bad seasons. There is no reason why they'd only sell a few of them at that price.

S5 is already $9.99 as well. S2 just adjusted as well.
