That seems a little steep for Madagascar 3 3D. Hope it goes lower soon.

What's up with no BB stores stocking The Goonies or Princess Bride. Not like they are niche titles or something......

I saw Princess Bride at BB tonight. Couldn't find The Dictator, though.

Picked up Primal Fear for $5 and Fincher's Girl w/Drag Tat for $8 (no coupon). Almost had the clerk take the coupon and not mark the receipt instead and had to get it back. Training doesn't get done at BB, does it?

Re: Apparently U&S is back on October 7th

Had $10 worth of U&S coupons from some crap I dumped last week. Didn't realize this promotion was ending this week. So I went in today.

Picked up: (Prices with coupon)

Paranormal Activity 3 movie collection $14.99

Nightmare on Elm Street Collection $39.99

Madagascar $4.99

Madagascar 2 $4.99

Madagascar 3 $17.99 with the bonus wig

Also picked up Mad Men season 5 $14.99 (coupon plus 2 $5 RZ certificates)

Still have 4 more to use before Sunday. Good Lord, what the hell else do I need/want?

Wondering if the 3-disc/movie Paranormal Activity collection is inferior to buying all 3 movies individually.

As to TV shows, I'm holding out until Black Friday. I suspect we'll have a lot of shows rather cheap.

It's the same price.

The PA movies separately are $9.99 each before coupon.

The 3-disc set is $19.99

So it comes out the same. Better for me to have all 3 tucked together.

Now I get to have my fix of Katie Featherston.

I have not been able to find Red Dawn. Is this in the normal shelves or in a special setup somewhere in the store?

Thanks. I'll take a look.

I know, I hate the new (mis)organization scheme.

... and I feel so dirty when I go and look through the "Special Interest" section. Reminds me of the old video store days, when the mom and pop stores had a backroom with a curtain for the "special interest" stuff.

Re: Apparently U&S is back on October 7th

Regarding Pete's Dragon, out of curiosity how many BD copies did anyone see who got to BB at 10 AM on Tuesday?

I went Tuesday evening and they had 4 on the Disney shelf on the back (minus the 1 I got)... none were on the front with the new releases. The movie section employee didn't even know about the movie even though it's in the ad. I did some shopping and came back a couple hours later and still saw 3 on the shelf. I would've thought it would be popular enough (especially with U&S) to sell at least 1 or 2 per hour, but maybe I'm the only one who likes it so much. I have no idea how many (if any) they sold before I got there.

The double points on DMR expires this coming Monday night, right?

I got it during the BB U&S in April for $4.99 with a $3 mfg coupon that happened to be active, but without the coupon you might as well get it at Target with no trade-in and 5% Red Card and 90 day return policy.

I got there at noon on Tuesday, and at my BB there were none in the Disney section but surprisingly there were quite a bit in the New Releases. I would say maybe 15 copies, possibly as many as 20. (I doubt anyone bought one before I got there, although maybe one or two people did.)

Remember, we're still in the minority when it comes to the popularity of Blu itself. Also, I don't know if I would consider Pete's Dragon to be a real big hit in the Disney realm as far as popularity was concerned. I loved it as a child but would not consider it to be some main stream title.

Always an important thing for Manzana and his ever changing mind and second guessing himself on purchases Kid because I care, but all kidding aside would definitely purchase at Target 1st for the 5% off in particular if the 2 stores were equal in price.

Picked up these for $4.99 today:

Innkeepers
An American Werewolf in London
The Invisible
Rampart
The Haunting of Molly Hartley

Only title that I've wanted and been unable to find anywhere is Deadgirl. I've given up on finding a copy by Saturday.
