Yeah, he's wrong. The extended cut is only available with the 3D version. It's on a separate blu ray from the theatrical version.

Ok, so this is crazy. They have a endcap of movies with a free Ebook offer on them. Don't remember all the movies but I bought Killing Kennedy for 7.99 and redeemed the code. It's one of those activate rewards codes. They emailed me a $10 visa gift card and said use it at the retailer of your choice. It's just a $10 gift card. Nothing ebook about it as far as I can tell. I bought a Blu Ray from Amazon with it. I'm going to see if it goes through.

They are on a rack of movies based on books (Devil Wears Prada, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Maze Runner, etc....). Prices are $7.99 and higher. I get the LA Times and for the last several weeks, they have not included Best Buy's new weekly ad. Just amazing how Best Buy's advertising has declined in recent years. Before the Ad was several pages deep, now it's barely an insert. On the plus side, with the advertising decline and higher prices, I have not felt compelled to go there weekly like I did in the past.

I just bought the John Hughes Collection, which includes The Breakfast Club, Weird Science, and Sixteen Candles, plus UV codes for all 3, as well as $7.50 Fandango Cash for Pitch Perfect 2. I guess this is a BB exclusive. It was $17.99, but I had a $10 promo code, plus $5 in rewards, so it didn't cost me much. I didn't own any of them on BD yet, although I did have Breakfast Club on HD-DVD.

I bought Killing Kennedy too, but was trying to figure out a convoluted scheme to figure out an order in advance at Amazon and then buy a gift card for the exact amount less $10 and then use the free $10 visa gc as my fallback payment method for a perfect $0 remaining balance.
