I've had a lot of the same problems others have had with BB, but I'm really hoping they don't go out. As a Elite member I get free expedited shipping and a few hundred in RZ dollars every year. I still occasionally shop Amazon but NY has long charged sales tax on Amazon and sometimes you just like to see something before you buy it.

You really think they would intentionally misprice something just to cancel it on the customer? What good would come of that for the company?

Same here. I rarely buy anything there, but they certainly do help keep prices down on everything they sell. Do people want to see us back to the days when things were regularly priced closer to the MSRP due to lack of competition?

Hell no! I'll weep the day that I have to rely on Walmart or Target for electronics or waiting for it to be delivered via Amazon. I can imagine that Amazon will be less hasty in their mail approach as well as there will not be much we can do about it as consumers. Right now they get our Prime orders out quickly as they know when can just price match their goods at Best Buy.

Picked up my Guardians of the Galaxy steelbook around 11:30 today. They were already sold out of their in store allotment by then. The guy that was handling online orders said that he heard they may be getting some more in on Friday. He couldn't confirm it, but it's just what he has been hearing.

For those 3D'ers out there > X-Men Days of Future Past 3D is $19.99. Can get that down to $14.99 with the $5 coupon. And if you're lucky, they may even have the Sentinel "exclusive BB" packaging for the same price.

Uh, you may want to see the film before making that comment. It's actually a pretty pivotal plot point and for most people the packaging has been getting good reviews.

No, but a steelbook like that is clearly intended for fans of the film, and fans of the film will appreciate the cover. If you had no intention on buying it anyway, then you don't need to like it.
