It appears as though they are going the Target route. New releases, recent releases, TV and HBO, eliminating almost all catalog inventory. Two more big shelves almost completely empty means they are going to tear them down in a month or so.

back at the end of January they had a pre-sell for Person of Interest S3 on Blu for 19.99. I placed an order and just received a notice saying the release date has been changed to Jan 2050. Has anyone else gotten something similar?

Same thing happened to me. Looks like they added a new sku that's way more expensive and are just planning on the $20 orders getting canceled. I'll probably call them in the next week to see if they'll change my order to the correct listing at the same price.

I received the same email, so I checked my order in order history. It shows the one I purchased on 2/1 with a SKU of PRESELL with quantity "0". Then below in Order Status, it shows SKU 7716347 and still the $19.99 price with a release date of 9/2/2014.

All the James Bond BDs are $4.99. Except Skyfall. There was a cardboard display.

That includes 1960's Casino Royale and License to Kill.

Half the spots in the Fox 5.99 standee were never stocked, including French Connection, but it is in stock on BB site. Can BB order to store on movies w/ free shipping?

I think BB only allows you to pickup the item at the store if the item is backordered online and I think thats only if the backordered is more than a few weeks.

When BB had the $2.99 DVD/$4.99 Blu-Ray deal a couple of weeks ago, I ordered about 10 DVDs/Blu-Rays. Two of the DVDs in my order were backordered and they said I wouldn't get them until mid-July. A day or so later, they sent me a email saying both DVDs were available at my local store and I could pick them up there. Unfortunately that store is a little bit out of the way for me to go pickup a couple of cheap DVDs especially ones I'm not in a hurry to get/watch.

So I passed on the offer and just wait until they are sent to me later this month. (If I was in a hurry to get them, I probably would have called them up and ask if my local BB store could mail them to me.) I didn't have to wait long as two days later, I received a email saying both DVDs were in stock and being sent out to me. I then received them a few days later.

The Bond DVDs I have don't look that great, so I've been wanting to replace them with Blus for some time. I don't want the entire series--just my faves--so this sale was ideal. I picked up the first five Connerys, the Lazenby, and the first two Craigs. Maybe pick up the Daltons and Brosnans some other time.

Second spin had the Planet of the Apes BD with slipcover sans movie ticket, best buy no slip but w movie ticket. I used to collect every apes dvd cover but I'm not a fan of either of the new artworks.

Nymphomaniac v1/2 is only $14.99 at BB. This is the set which includes BOTH films. You can buy v1 by itself for $24.99. It is NOT available to order on BB.com. But stores have it under New Releases. You can see it in the online ad, but the SKU is invalid if you click on it.

I got a movie code from Amazon for buying the BLU RAY Planet of the Apes set, but also wanted to get another ticket from the Best Buy BLU-RAY of the Rise of the Planet of the Apes, but the ones with Movie Cash are all sold out online and no store pickup, however, they have plenty of the non-movie cash versions. I think I will order one for store pickup and then see if any are still in store with the movie cash and either ask for that version or cancel the one I placed if they won't substitute it. I order online to get affiliate cash that I don't get just buying in store in the first place.

Edit: They all had the $8 movie money, even the ones ordered from the site that don't say they do.

I really like the artwork on the POTA movie only edition. The other is OK. But I will probably get both of them when the price is right. I do collect every version of Apes movies and won't stop now.

I think the teenagers running the place must have seen FREE BIRDS as a dump title and included a Hitchcock title because it had "birds" in it. Would have really impressed me if they had The Crow as a title to select from as well...even...The Raven.
