Re: Looking for local buy Universal 100th anniversary editions
At WalMart for $11.96.
I bought Ray, Babe and Field of Dreams. I say that all these 100 Anniversary Blu-rays are the same disc from there previous release. Just a second disc has been added for DVD with Digital Copy. Nowhere on the cover art, does the 100 Anniversary Logo appear or is talked about. It's only on the slipcover. The slipcover is those that has a flap you can open and has some facts or trivia about the movie you bought and other Universal related things. The good thing about RAY for the DVD is that it's not the flipper no more.
Amazon shows more is coming. I saw they have more for pre-order Meet the Parents, Harvey, The Nutty Professor, Billy Elliott, The Deer Hunter, Parenthood, All Quiet on the Western Front, To Kill a Mockingbird, A Beautiful Mind and The Blues Brothers. Prices are from $12.99 to $17.99.

I saw an entire section at Target consisting of 100th anniversary titles. Both DVD's and BD's intermixed with each other. I believe the BD's were all $14.99, but knowing Target, they will put them all on sale at the same time.

At Best Buy, I saw Billy Elliott for $12.99. With the $5 coupon, it's only $7.99. I didn't look for other titles.

Can anybody confirm that Do The Right Thing isn't a flipper? I'd love to hear that Universal took this opportunity to rectify their earlier color-timing f-up on this title... but I sincerely doubt it.

Amazon also has Apollo 13... the 15th Anniversary Edition with DVD and Digital Copy is $9.99, but the Universal 100th Anniversary Edition (also with DVD and Digital Copy) is $17.99 $6 more for essentially the same version?

So, if the version I own came with a DVD and Digital Copy, then I essentially have the 100th Anniversary Edition (sans the fancy slipcover)?
