Now only available from 3rd parties. £32.99 plus shipping is cheapest. Seems to change daily so keep checking if you are interested.

Masters of Sex Season 3, unreleased in North America, is down to €9.99 on Amazon France: https://www.amazon.fr/Masters-of-Sex.../dp/B01BE28M7A

Includes UV Code and an Amazon reviewer says it's All Region (I've no idea if they're correct). I've heard the German version is definitely locked to B. I'm uncertain on Denmark, Finland, Norway or Sweden.

re: International Blu-ray deals

Hopefully nobody minds since there really isn't a good Amazon.co.uk separate thread for single blu-rays...made the following order which might or might not interest anybody:

1 of: 9 ½ Weeks [Blu-ray] [1986], Kim Basinger £4.48 (supposed to be the superior version on Blu and region free)

1 of: Ghosts of Mars [Limited Dual Format Edition] [Blu-Ray], Ice Cub £11.03(Indicator release and different extras from US release)

1 of: The Anderson Tapes [Blu Ray] [Blu-ray], Sean Connery £12.49 (Indicator release and anything has to be better than the Mill Creek US double feature release)

Item(s) Subtotal: GBP 28.00
Postage & Packing: GBP 5.06

Grand Total: GBP 33.06
Payment Grand Total: USD 42.89 **

On the boxset front, I did notice that the M. Night Shyamalan - Collection (Signs, Sixth Sense and Unbreakable) was only GBP 10.99 and Definance complete series (with UV codes that have been reported to transfer over here) was only GBP 18.99 (and from what I could find should be all region free)...but I didn't bite.

The Big Heat from Indicator is not on sale as such, but it's gotten rave reviews over at DVD Beaver and is limited to 3,000 copies and is region free, so those on the fence may not want to wait too long. --Peter

I thought about getting Ghosts of Mars, but I don't think it's that much different than the old Sony release. I have that one. I couldn't justify the extra expense just for a book let and maybe a new 2-3 minute featurette. That being said, I will give it another look and see if I missed something.

GOM also includes a 41 minute interview with Carpenter from 1994, that is continued from a 39-minute interview on Indicator's edition of "John Carpenter's Vampires".

Yeah, that, the sound mix (it's supposed to be a lot better) and the booklet is why I opted for it. I do hate they broke it up with the interview though. Might have to go get Vampires at some point even though I have the Twilight Time release. GOM was much easier to rationalize though.

Not really a boxset, but the sequels have never had a US release. Region Free

Around $9 shipped.

I like the first 2. That's a great deal.

re: International Blu-ray deals

The Steven Seagal boxed-set from 2012 is about $14.79 shipped from Amazon UK.

It's got:

Under Siege
Under Siege 2
Above the Law
Marked for Death
Executive Decision

That's $2.95 per movie.

terrible transfers by the way. some of the earliest Warner catalogs - everyone of them is no better than their DVD counterpart with lossy sound tracks. PQ on US and US II is downright terrible, upresed DVD at best

Oh wow. Yeah, I didn't buy it. I was just posting, because it's technically a good deal. Didn't know about the crappy transfers.

The Blurays might not be up to current standards but they are much better than the dvd http://caps-a-holic.com/c.php?go=1&a...=82503&i=5&l=0

Got these in last night. I do want to point out that I am VERY impressed with the Indicator releases. For the price and the quality, it's certainly on par with Twilight Time and Criterion. I saw absolutely no reason (and I was planning to) to keep my US blus of Ghosts of Mars or Anderson Tapes and put them in my sell pile. (I did do a quick M2D for Ghosts of Mars though)

I can confirm that the UK version of 9 1/2 Weeks looks a lot better than the US counterpart. It is the same runtime too (only +/- 2 seconds) which would at least indicate (without taking the time to do a frame by frame) it is the same cut as well despite the package saying 112 minutes, it is indeed 117. It comes in a European style case as well for those who care. The American version of 9 1/2 weeks is on the sell pile too. It's a shame that it doesn't M2D.

re: International Blu-ray deals

I was considering getting S1 of Daredevil at Target with the Cartwheel coupon. It could come out at about $23-24. But I thought I'd check Amazon UK for any region free deal, and I found a nice one. About $17 shipped. So it's on its way by slow boat. That's OK. A blind buy for me, and I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Ha! I just noticed the price-drop and placed an order for this before coming into the thread.

UFO is a blind buy for me, but the stills of Gabrielle Drake I've seen over the years has me thinking I'll find at least some entertainment value in it.

Not a Blu-Ray, but an Amazon.co.uk deal.

Amazon.co.uk seems to be having several different BD box sets on deep sale.

Is there a link to the sale, or any titles off the top of your head?

re: International Blu-ray deals

This set is a great region B bargain at about $40 shipped to the USA from Amazon France:
https://www.amazon.fr/4-Westerns-Leg...4YSQJMFDJATNBA

However, in the set I received, two of the cases were empty with no discs in them. Amazon is shipping out a replacement set. Three of the 4 titles in the set - Broken Arrow (Kino), Broken Lance (TT) and Garden of Evil (TT) have had individual stateside Region A/Region Free release

Loved the PQ on the two titles that had discs in them - these are Fox provided HD masters. Default soundtrack is French but when switched to English, French subtitles are burned in with no option to remove them. There are no English subtitles

re: International Blu-ray deals

I have been following these two Arrow titles for a while as they are both Region A/B and their FlickerAlley counterparts in the US are now roughly twice the price as in the UK. And these two titles have steadily dropped in price and have settled at the current prices for a few days now

Woman on the Run: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01CO3EA2Y
Too Late for Tears: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01CO3E9RA

Together they're $32.xx shipped to the USA after VAT removal and shipping charges (each of them goes for that much in the USA)

Additionally, the following Region Free sets are on sale at pretty low prices as well (AFTER VAT Removal) - combining multiple items saves on shipping:

Amazing Spiderman 2 3D - £4.99: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00JKHCPNE
Jaws 2/Jaws 3/Jaws The Revenge 3 movie set - £8.33: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01GRU58VC
Die Hard Legacy Collection - $8.33: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00DDVCDB2
Goodfellas - 25th Anniversary Edition - $8.33: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00UTDXZ0A

re: International Blu-ray deals

So, the Red vs Blue Chorus Trilogy Steelbook is only 10.99 pounds which after shipping comes to $16.52 American which is about 10 dollars cheaper than the current Amazon US deal w/tax and shipping. So naturally, I rather get that deal...one question. Does anybody know if this is region free or region A,B or not? The usual spots simply don't seem to indicate anybody has really tested it...it's just defaulted to its own region code and that's that. Or maybe somebody can test the USA trilogy steelbook and just see if it is okay with multiple regions. Just thinking.

re: International Blu-ray deals

I haven't seen much discussion of them yet but the UK has gotten some very interesting complete television BD sets in recent months - including The Incredible Hulk and the A-Team.

I'm extremely interested in the Incredible Hulk set and thought the SD streams on VUDU were very well done (better than the DVD set I have for sure)...so I'm curious to see how good the Blu-ray set is. But ~60 pounds...it's going to have to come down. Once I see it for ~35 to ~40 pounds, I'll be a little more interested.

Edit: Strike that...it's Region B. I'm happy with my digital and dvd set. Maybe Mill Creek will re-release it in the US, it's not that much of a stretch.
Edit: Actually Mill Creek does not have the US rights. Maybe somebody else then? Lol
