Yeah I'm holding out for the decent price on the movie set too.

There are hundreds of price drops today, most of them just a few cents. Amazon seems to have moved away from the .99, .49 pricing, at least for now. If that remains it will make it much more difficult to track the actual Amazon prices, as opposed to third party prices. (It might not be clear why until you actually try to do it.)

Anyway, I work on Thursdays (volunteer job) and don't have time to mess with it all. As always, there are useful links in the first post of this thread that will help you find low prices at Amazon.

I noticed this too. Seems like every title on the site is being dropped by pennies. Strange.

I keep things in my saved cart.. then I check it every day.. to see if things drop below my threshold.. well I had 17 drops today.. only 2 of the 17 were $1 drop.. the other 15 were under $0.02 to $0.25 drops.. most being under $0.10 drops.. bizarro...

re: Star Wars

It seems tomorrow is "Star Wars day" (didn't know such a thing existed) so that lends credence to the blu-ray set being on sale.

Micmacs dropped again to $14.99, Prime eligible, fulfilled by a 3rd party. $15.99 from Amazon.com.

At $78.99 it is still too high for me to pull the trigger on the set.

It might be a good price for some I guess.

"Star Wars Day" is just goofy thing people made up. It's May 4th because you can say "May the Fourth Be With You"

Still too high?! Most of us who prebooked it on Amazon only paid $79.99 for it! This deal of the day is an embarassment!

I was just coming here to say what a crap deal this was. Most deals of the day seem to be about 40-60% off from the day-before price, not a mere $10!

I was thinking a few moments ago. I really don't need this set. At all.

I purchased Ep IV thru VI the day I got my player. If this set ever hits sub $40, I'd pick it up. I have no desire to watch I thru III ever again, but I hear the special features are nice.

Even as a prequel enjoyer/defender, I still refuse to pay more than $50 for this set.

Re: Amazon Blu-ray Discounts and Deals Thread #27

Not sure if these are new lows, but Amazon is pushing these today as "for a limited time":

Thor (2-disc) = $19.99
Thor (3D version - 3-disc) = $24.99
Captain America (2-disc) = $19.98
Captain America (3D version - 3-disc) = $24.99
Iron Man 2 (3-Disc) = $14.00
Iron Man 2 (Single Disc) = $14.99 (yeah, it's MORE!)
Iron Man = $14.00

Amazon dropped literally hundreds of items a few cents to match Walmart in recent days. It would be an enormous task to post a list where individual items did not materially change, unless you think saving 4 cents is important.

I have 4 fandango cash codes for American Reunion. I'm asking 20 for them, since they're worth 40 dollars. If anybody is interested, PM me. thanks.
