My O on Clerks 2, yes totally worth getting. Probably in the minority but I actually like 2 better than 1. I own Clerks 2 on HD-DVD but dont have Clerks 1 on any format or plan to even though the BD is dirt cheap. 1 just feels too amateurish of a short/student film not that there's anything wrong with that but I did laughed harder on 2.

In for Clerks on Blu.

I liked Clerks 2 but I was only 18 when it came out, so the cheap humor made me laugh.

I'll jump in on the Clerks opinions.

Clerks and Chasing Amy are two of my favorite films of all-time. The abomination that is Clerks 2 makes me ashamed to admit the former.

Even though we are getting off subject, here is my opinion. Clerks is awesome, Clerks 2 isn't bad, just not quite as good. Chasing Amy is way overrated, Mallrats is way underrated. Dogma & J&SB Strike Back, both good in their own right. I think that covers it as far as ones related to the Kevin Smith Jersey Movies.

In for Clerks at $6.99. I think this is my 4th time buying this - 1 VHS, 2 DVD versions, now Blu. One of my favorite films of all time.

Sometimes if they are sold out they will still take order but tell you it will take days extra to ship the item to you. If the price is still there order it, the worst that can happen it will be canceled.

Gotcha. The chicken wire thing confused me.

I ordered it yesterday. I was just telling LorenzoL that he could still order it for $7. Amazon always accepts backorders. They didn't completely run out of stock forever. They just don't have any copies on hand. They won't cancel anyone's orders.

Agree wholeheartedly. Actually my favorite KS movie is Mallrats, mainly because of Jason Lee's Brodie.

Color me interested, for a minute I thought it might be the Rock Movie and the two Kevin Sorbo movies (I know, you can laugh)...but was more happy to see that it was the original 3. At $8 a piece, I might still wait for reviews but this looks like one worth looking into.

For those that actually like Chasing Amy, as well as J&SBSB, there's a new set with those and Clerks 15th anniversary coming out for $20.99 on Tuesday.

I've always loved the original "Walking Tall" with Joe Don Baker as a great "Redneck Exploitation" film (and I really thought "The Rock" version missed the mark by being a little too slick). However, I was extremely disappointed with the old "WT" DVD, - they left it "open-framed", and you could seen the microphones and cables in almost every shot. I'll definitely check out the set.

I have the big box version of that set. It is a nice set, glad to see they did a smaller version. I did find myself keeping the dvd tenth anniversary of Clerks on dvd as well as the second disc of J&SB on dvd though.

LOL, I thought you meant that's what they wrapped it in. Clerks is now showing available again, ships in 7-9 days.

Anyone think O Brother Where Art Thou will get lower than $15? It's always been so expensive.

I don't know if you have any interest in joining the Disney Movie Club, but if you do, that title is available as an enrollment. That's how I picked up my copy.

Shame it doesn't include the TV series. The quick 7 episode series was way better than the two sequels that it was spawned from.

Did not even give that any thought when I posted it. Amazon is like a big store you order everything you want and its ship all (most of the time) at once. Order Chains, Zip ties, At-At (Starwars Ship)and lube once. All ship at once.

I grew up watching the open matte version on TV. I wish they'd include both the WS & FF versions. If not, I'm going to miss those boom mics in nearly every shot.
