This was a pretty good movie, but got a little weird on the last 1/4 of the film. Still would buy it, though. Forgot about this, actually but now I have it on my list. GH has it used for like $5 including shipping...hmmm.

Not sure what GH is.

Anyway it was a worthwhile watch as a revenge movie with a few good explosions.

I like it, paid a little more for it. Ya you have to take the movie for what it is. I mean he could have done some of the things but not all of them. In the end it was worth the money I paid for it, and I have watched it twice more.

Bloody joke, 250,000 of them made. I buy box sets this one has to be the one that had/has the most made. I have two of them. For over a year I try to trade my extra one for another I need (even added cash, and would pay shipping both ways). No one would trade (Amazon has had this a deal what 10 times now?). I even try to sell my extra one (lower then this price) again. Hell I even try to give the bloody thing away, in the end I part it out (free) just to get read of it.

Costco has them cheap, everyone has them cheap. To many made.

Like LOTR, you know the one that keeps going down $1 a week (last I seen it was $22) this set will get lower to $19.99.

Well, in the case of LOTR, the EE release has made the TE release meaningless and second rate, of sorts. I dont know anything about TSOM, but, I dont think its is comparible to LOTR in that case.

I do know that Amazon raised the price to MSRP and then reduced it to $28.99 to make the savings look huge, when based on bluray.com's price tracker, the set was actually hovering around $45 or so for the last six months. Thats almost a CH move.

Adventures of Tintin may be in your gold boxes today. My family has 3 accounts, and it was in all 3 of them. Yesterday, Hugo was in 2 of our 3 accounts. I think they're trying to push these movies. The nice thing about Tintin is, because it doesn't have a release date yet, if you order something else with it that is in-stock, it will likely ship right away. I ordered a $10 item with it, and it shipped immediately.

Yeah, TSOM has been low to mid-30s before, and not just here. I think Costco had it for around that price.

Amazon probably keeps making these various sets the DOTW to get rid of non-moving stock. Personally, they're not my thing. (I prefer the non-swag versions of the movies). I've only bought two of these boxes on BD: GWTW and Ben Hur (and the only reason I went for the box instead of waiting on that one was because I could get it for $10.99 during the BB Black Friday deal).

I also have the Woodstock UCE on DVD, but am seriously considering dumping that space-killer for the UK BD, which contains all the video content on two discs and no extraneous box fillers.

I had TinTin 3d in my gb one day last week and my wife had Hugo 3d in hers the same day. Went ahead and put placeholders on both of them.

As far as ordering other in stock items with pre-orders, I did this recently and they held off shipping the in stock item until after I had placed another order(which was a few days later) and shipped them together. Not really crazy about this, but they seem to be doing more and more of it, atleast with my recent orders.

Thanks - I've been waiting for this to come down. For $7.99, I can wait a little longer.

Glad to see Puss in Boots drop to 27.99! Used a $5 coupon plus another $5 promo on it, so it will be only $17.99 for me... Hope it drops even more!

I assume that "another $5 promo on it" was something specific for you from Amazon, or is there 2 stackable promotions?

$22.99 is too much for me, but I might be able to handle $17.99 on a new 3D BD release... if only there were another coupon. BTW, is it likely there will be a $5 manufacturer's coupon on this for puchase in stores? I know it's not Disney, but don't other studios on rare occasion do manufacturer's coupons?

The Conversation is up to $12.99 now. The link from Blu-ray.com still shows it as $7.99. Oh well.

Gonna get my $9.49 Dr. Zhivago digibook delivered today. Always nice when amazon overestimates the shipping time on backorders.

It was a $5 Duracell batteries promo code, so not something many people likely got. Yes, other companies do have manufacturer's coupons occasionally, but usually for only $3, and rarely for new releases. I don't recall any 3D titles having one (other than Disney). Coupons.com has them most often, but sometimes Amazon offers them as well. It is good practice to check www.Amazon.com/coupons from time to time...

There are several $2/$3/$4 coupons right now at coupons.com, but Amazon unfortunately is not offering those, at least not yet...

I can't wait to get this. This is the kind of movie that Blu Ray excels in, replicating the theatrical experience like nothing else. A huge 70mm 6 Track thanks to the OP for the alert on this fantastic deal!

Red Riding Trilogy is even cheaper now, from Marketplace sellers but fulfilled by Amazon and eligible for FSSS or Prime. $10.11 is the cheapest seller (13 left in stock), and iNetVideo is selling it for $10.42.

^ $9.13 now from Rebels 'N Renegades Entertainment (with Amazon fulfillment). Blind buy for me, but I've read great things about it.

Canceled my Zhivago and Amadeus order from last week and reordered them with this for free shipping.
