If it wasn't for the Mentally-Challenged Box Edition casing for the discs, I'd get this. Good price, though.

The only difference I know of is digital copies of TS 1 & 2. If you have TS1&2 and TS3 (4 disc) then that's all you are missing besides the crappy packaging. I'd say stick with your old ones.

Is this set now or close to OOP?
It seems now you can only get the box set from the UK.

Toy Story 1 and 2 have been put in the vault before. Most recently during the time before the first blu-ray release.

And Toy Story 4 is expected in 2017 I think. So expect it to be re-vaulted sometime before then, probably in the next year or so.

That's not what your original post said and what I was responding to. I do expect some of Pixar films, and other recent Disney releases like Frozen, to get "vaulted" again over time.

It will be very interesting to see how Disney handles their vault concept with DMA in the future. Will they pull vault titles from digital sale? I have a feeling the vault strategy is going away once Disney eliminates physical media.

I suspect we will still see titles put in the vault for a very long time. Disney will be one of the last to abandon physical media since their titles sell so well. Only time will tell if they ever jump into another version of physical media, but if not, I could still see them putting titles in a virtual vault. It's not like it would be difficult for them to simply take titles down off their streaming service.
I fully expect this will include the Pixar, and pseudo Pixar films like Tangled and Frozen. Only difference will be the number of years a title is available before being put int he vault again.

Almost certainly (IF they continue the vault system) - as near as I can tell, everyrhing currently in the vault is not presently for sale, even if it has been in the past.
