Re: Best Buy $5 off coupon

FYI that I just saw in store Breaking Bad Season 2 on Blu was on sale this week for $14.99. I will take credit for that price drop since I just paid $27 for it last week online

Got True grit today too, thanks OP.

I may go back for Tron Classic, but maybe that will drop lower in the next month and a half.

Re: Best Buy $5 off coupon

No problem with True Grit for me. Cashier said "This may not work because it's on sale, but let's scan it anyways and see......." In and out in less than 5 mins.

Re: Best Buy $5 off coupon

I had the BB cashier price match their website on Breaking Bad Season One BD for 14.99 (it rang up at 34.99) and I then handed him the $5 coupon which he scanned without question. It worked so I took it home for $9.99 plus tax.

Re: Best Buy $5 off coupon

Got Dr. Strangelove ( Blu-ray) Book version $10.75, Breaking Bad Season 2 $10.75, and Legend $10.75 after taxes. I tried use coupon on Breaking Bad Season 1 but no go (can't price match & use coupon). I wonder The Matrix Collection is on sale instore for $30 or just only Online Price? I may go back pick up Disney Nausica: valley of the wind for $15 plus taxes.

I got the new True Grit BD for $9.99 with no problems. I can't tell you how tempted I was to get Deathly Hallows 1 BD/combo pack for $9.99 knowing that this particular cashier didn't have any problems with the coupons, but I restrained myself by saying that I'm going to buy the entire Harry Potter BD collection with the ultimate cuts in a couple years when the price works out to $80 or less ($10 per movie), so I'd only be wasting $9.99 + tax now... better to rent it in the meantime. Now who knows if they'll screw me/us over when they release the Harry Potter BD collection by not including the extended cuts/ultimate features in the first release and purposefully planning a double dip. Passing on new releases at $9.99 is tough for me. Must... resist... temptation.

Though I saw Avatar and BTTF BDs, they were a moot point since I bought them from Amazon when they came out. Who would've thought BB would have good prices on these with a coupon that works so soon...

You mean you actually found a deal (especially witih a coupon) that worked for you at Best Buy?! All those who don't find themselves going to Heaven better pack their ice skates . I'm really tempted to get Harry Potter. I had picked some up on HD-DVD then got the blu-rays with the Red2Blu promotion. I thought about waiting to see if they had a deal (or pre-packaged set) for Part 1 & 2 of the Deathly Hallows, but I may go ahead and get it. I have a $5 BB certificate from shopkick that is only good for a couple of days. Being that it acts like a gift card (or maybe a rewards certificate, I'm not sure), it should combine with the $5 coupon making HP only $4.99 I figure it's worth that to go ahead and get it and be able to watch it before the new movie comes out (at least, if I hopefully find the time).

Re: Best Buy $5 off coupon

I was able to get Battle: Los Angeles for $12.99 after the coupon. Not bad at all for a new release!

Also picked up four of the $5.99 titles (Crank, The Descent, Requiem for a Dream, High Tension) and three $7.99 titles (Underworld, Sky Captain, From Dusk Til Dawn).

$65.18 for eight blus. That'll do until Columbia House brings back blu enrollments!

Re: Best Buy $5 off coupon

You guys had to PM the Target price for True Grit to get it for $10, right? Because it's $18 at BB and $15 at Target this week.

It's $18 in the weekly ad, which is causing the confusion. But it is most definately $15 in-store. They did the same thing with True Blood a few weeks ago.

I went ahead and PM'd theTarget ad with the $5 coupon for BTTF, even though I already had it. I wanted the new packaging and I haven't opened the old one, so it will be easy to sell. I did have to get them to pull one from the back, so if you don't see it on the floor, the rule is to ask.

Is Avatar the 3D or 1D. It looks like Amazon has the 3BR for 19.99, so I guess the 3D is in9store at BB for 19.99, no PM needed?? I wish I had checked since I was just there.

avatar isn't available yet on 3D blu ray for retail purchase... you can only get it by buying a panasonic tv or 3d blu ray player... that's going until at least 02-29-2012

Re: Best Buy $5 off coupon

I used the coupon today and got the matrix box set for $24.99... it rang up $59.99 and they had to price match their website...

funny thing was I also tried to buy foo fighters new blu ray which is on sale for $17.99 and they told me I couldn't use the coupon for it because it was on sale! (regular price is $19.99 - so I will wait until sunday when it's not on sale & get it for $14.99)

I forgot about the new packaging. I already opened mine and used the digital copies, though. I guess I could have probably got it and switched out the digital copies so I could sell it. But I'm happy with getting Harry Potter for $4.99. I'd like to watch it, again, before the new one comes out, anyway.

I assume you mean Deathly Hallows Pt1. How did you get it for $4.99? I got it yesterday for $9.99, with the coupon. Or are you talking about the 1-disc?
