Best place to buy blu rays?
Hi, I just purchased my new blu ray player and am looking to add some DVD to my collection. Where should I look to get the best deals besides eBay?

I wouldn't say there is any one place, but checking in here will often tell you where you should go.

Amazon is definitely a great place to start. If you're probably going to purchase online and you want to shop around, you could also try http://www.dvdtalk.com/price.html

Amazon. And if you plan on buying a fair amount (and not necessarily just DVDs), spring for the Prime membership. You'll get free two-day shipping even if your total order is under $25, which most single DVDs would be.

Also, sometimes pawn shops have great deals. Shop at pawn shops.

I think the answer is very subjective depending on who you talk to.
As their are people who have had their bad experiences with retailers that other members have found to be excellent.
myself even though they arent perfect I do think Amazon is my personal choice for best place to buy them.

The best place to shop for Blu-ray and DVD is via these forums. Amazon may be the best overall but they are not the only place to shop. Check here often for the best deals.

Amazon, sure, but really keep on top of week to week sales at the chains, special pre-order glitches, etc. Basically check the blu-ray bargains on here often.

I second gohastings and Amazon/Amazon Market Place. You can build a nice startup collection from gohastings for cheap and if you can wait for a free shipping offer then you're golden! Amazon is the fallback while waiting for that coupon.

And double-check the price history of any potential Amazon purchase at www.camelcamelcamel.com
and as a triple check, I always go to http://www.dvdpricesearch.net before I make my final purchase. They don't have all of the online stores, but enough that it is at least worth your time to check before pulling the trigger.
