amazon is saying their deals are going to be "up to 70%" off but of course there's no guarantee this one will be that high of a savings...

I went for this one because it's a sure thing...

Exactly what I'm expecting to happen. However (and someone correct me if I'm wrong) I believe within 14 days you can return a B&N.com order to a local B&N store for a full refund w/o having to ship it back, so if Amazon has a better price and you make it in on the lightning deal, then just return the B&N one to the store. Of course that assumes that B&N doesn't randomly cancel your BTTF order (or mine) for some mysterious reason.

Also, if BTTF Trilogy BD is $19.99 on Friday, you will have at most 10 seconds to order it before it's gone. At $24.99 you might have 15 seconds.

If this is correct (I must've missed the 70% off ceiling note), given that BTTF Trilogy BD is $79.99 MSRP, then $23.99 is the best possible price (at 70% off).

I was able to get this deal to work too. Since I paid $49.99 at Target when this first came out, I can take that copy back and save $20.00!

Also, I read the Return Policy for Barnes and Noble. It does say you can return your order within 14 days to any Barnes and Noble store...

Even if it goes lower with Amazon and I can't get it there, I am still enjoying getting it cheaper... Hopefully they will actually ship it!

Although your instructions are correct, you may want to edit the post. The coupon code you listed is actually 30% off, not 15%. Also, the Visa link won't be giving you a 5% discount. It would if you were not using a coupon, but since you are, there is no 5% discount. I figured I'd mention it for those trying to verify the math, since it won't add up to $27.99 the way you have it listed...
Last, you say "15% off single item not entire ITEM". I think you meant to say entire ORDER.

At 19 bucks, I'd go for it but not more than that. I can wait. Truthfully, I don't remember the last time I actually watched the last two films. So, if not at 19 later in the next few day, I can wait a year -- no problem.

After taxes, this would be just a tick more than what I PM'd at Target using the Ultimate Electronics ad. If Amazon has it cheaper, I'll just buy it from Amazon, and use it to take back to Target for a refund of what I paid there.

Aw crap, why didn't the OP explicitly list that this was a Visa card-ONLY deal? I've got access to everything but Visa. OTOH, even without the Visa buff, it was only $29.67 w/tax, so unless Amazon beats that, I'm OK.

You don't need a Visa at all if you're a member entitled to free shipping. The 30% off coupon still works, giving you the same price as listed above. The 5% Visa discount doesn't stack with the 30% coupon. So, people only use the Visa link to get free shipping if they're not members.

Actually... I used the 30% off which made it $27.99 which is beyond their $25 or more for free shipping. So still got free shipping and only paid sales tax... Order away.....
