That's what I figured. We'll see what shows up as my order has already shipped. If they are not to my liking, I can defintiely get more than $3.33 for each of them on the used market.

I have to wonder how many people will get brand new, sealed titles. I'm imagining sales clerks running over to Walmart, Best Buy, and whoever else is nearby with a GoHastings Corporate Card, fulfilling orders.

I'm torn between being content with my 3 small, regular-type orders & being disappointed that they pulled the sale.

I had already missed out on the big deals (which appeared to be glitches, so don't like taking advantage of a website error anyway). But I was happy picking up some titles I missed during the 5 for $20 offer & was looking forward to seeing if some OOS titles popped up throughout the week as they did during the $4 sale.

So it isn't missing out on the incredible deals with the items that would regularly cost $25-$50 or even the $15-$20 titles. I was just happy to pick up stuff that would normally cost around $10 used for half-price.

Makes me wonder if they just pulled the code rather than fixing the glitch, had cleared out enough stock, or figured that they had lost too much money due to the big items mistakenly being sold.

Hopefully, there will be another good sale before long (after they've had time to restock). Paying $5-$6 for recent BD's and sets is pretty awesome, even if condition is a crapshoot. I bought a boatload of stuff during the last sale, and nearly all of them were in outstanding shape (a few BD's and one set still sealed).

When I first saw the sale 3 dvds & books for $10 at 8pm HST time on 04/30. I did not think much about it. I usually don't buy dvds or books. I came back to the site a couple hours later & notice almost 30 of the 3D titles & had in my wish lists were OOS. I told myself don't tell me this code also works on blu-rays. I tried it & it worked & also noticed after I posted the sale here that it also worked on titles over $50.

Yeah, between these two recent sales, I'd think their stock is pretty much depleted for a lot of the more obscure (or less common) titles, especially for box sets.

Don't know how rapid their turnover rate is or if this was just intended to be a massive clearance of backstock (not any glitch but the advertised discounts). Hopefully, they're not tightening up inventory so that they're not accepting much & are considerably downsizing inventory the way the box stores are doing.

It's nice to be able to pick up marginal titles along with those that rarely go on sale at appreciable discounts (or have high MSRP) on the cheap, even if some of those will be on sale during BF.

I placed 6 orders for the 3/$10 sale. With this sale I have completed my Lost Collection (season 5). Caught up with Walking Dead (Season 4 & 5). Also caught up with Arrow (Season 3). I also picked up Star Wars Complete Saga, Superman: The Motion Picture Anthology 1978-2006, Back to the Future 25th Anniverasy, Prison Break S1 & S3, True Detective: Season 2, Sleepy Hollow: Season 1, plus some 3D & regular bd's.

More shocking I received 6 blu-rays today from the 3/$10 sale. Tomorrow I will receive the last order I placed (3 bd boxsets) by UPS.

Heck I am still waiting on getting Arrow S1 BD Boxset from the 5/$20 sale. That will complete the 10 orders I placed from the 5/$20 sale.

Oh boy... I got two of my sets in. One was missing the outer box... why? Why would they even buy and sell such a thing? It's a box set! How can you miss the box?!? The other, which was the Friends Complete Series, was a foreign import. It had a black smudged, dog-fur covered yellow binder with the discs packed in rows of three sleeves and Asian writing all over everything. Took the discs out to examine them and noticed most of them were warped to boot. Totally ungiftable. Hoping the Batman box set has no problems.

I'd have to say that would be a total outlier for GH. I have ordered hundreds of titles from them and have never gotten a non-North-American SKU. Wrong edition of a title or damaged/incomplete? Sure. But nothing that is clearly not sold here.

It happened to me too, on the recent 5/$20 sale. I got a Chinese bootleg copy of In Treatment: Season 1. I emailed them for a return label, but then decided that I'd keep it since it was so cheap and I really wanted to watch it.
