Percy Jackson was terrible. I'd advise against a blind buy.

Interesting to see Survival Of The Dead at the same price for either format.

I'm glad to see there will be special packaging for the Simpson's DVD. I'll pick up the Simpson and Hot tub time machine.

I love zombie movies but, that movie was a real disappointment.

Is $15 for Crazy Heart too much for a blind buy? I'm definitely considering it...

Off topic, I know, but if that were a realistic scenario, would you really pass up money to simply watch a movie?

Crazy Heart was a great film. If you like dramas, you'll like Crazy Heart. Think "The Wrestler" only the lead is a Country Western singer.

I saw it in the theater and I bought the Blu-Ray.

I guess it would depend on the amount.

I am a huge Romero fan (and even enjoyed Land of the Dead), but this was really bad...worse than Diary of the Dead bad. Felt like it was a made for TV movie with some blood and zombies.

I would be cautious about blind buying this one.

Will the Simpsons Special packaging be for both DVD and Blu or just DVD?

Damn, $25 of Lost season 6 with the purchase of another season at $34.99? I think there are 2 other seasons on Blu that I need so that is a no brainer for me. I don't see how Amazon can match that.

The ad does not make it clear that Seasons 1-5 will also be $34.99 each on BD, as they only have DVD versions pictured for that price....

Just for the DVD, someone please correct me if I am wrong since I, too, hoped the special packaging would have been available for Blu-ray.

+1
This movie makes Land Of The Dead look like Citizen Kane. Simply a putrid movie. Rent it to satisfy your curiosity, or wait for the inevitable used copies that will show up after the hardcore fans buy it sight unseen and dump it.

Well it would appear that the regular Lost sets are $19.99 online but the Blu's are $59.99. Not a deal at all for me. You basically get one of old seasons for free if you're into SD.

To be honest, I've been looking for a good point to stop buying the special versions. The switch to BD seems like a good enough point for me. I'm running out of space!

There will also be a non-special packaging DVD version.
