Family Video In Store Sale (YMMV?)

Wasn't sure whether to post this in the DVD or BLU section, but since I'm converting to BLU, I figured I'd post here.

I noticed driving by the local Family Video that they are having a "Mega Movie Sale" Thursday 28th July thru Sunday 1st August.

I honestly don't know if this is company wide since I never go in there I couldn't tell you, but I thought it at leas deserved a heads up for those that might be interested in checking with their local store.

I've never come across a Family Video that sells blu ray, but maybe I'm just having bad luck.

I pass by one on my way home. I'll stop in today and ask about the sale.

The sale is on the last weekend of every month and is for previously viewed dvds. Blu-rays are never included in the sale.

Sale prices:

$9.95 (original price) for $7.95 (sale price) or get 3 for $21
$7.95 for $5.95 or get 2 for $11
$4.95 for $3.95 or get 2 for $7

Family Video near me writes all over their DVDs, can't bring myself to buy anything there....

Pretty sure rubbing alcohol washes that marker off with no ill effects.
