Kung Fu Hustle with $10 movie ticket
I apologize if someone has posted it already. I bought the kung fu hustle blu ray from Target (on sale this week) for $9.99 and it comes with $10 movie ticket for these movie:
Eat Pray Love,
Salt,
Other Guys.
The coupon will expire on 10/9/10.
I can't wait to see Salt this Friday.

Anything else besides Kung Fu Hustle with the movie money? Other Guys looks hilarious. Looking over the Target Ad, also @ $9.99 this week is
Speed
Dracula
Super Troopers
Terminator
Major League
Speed Racer
wonder if the others might have movie money....hrmmmm.

Last weekend the wife and I went to see Toy Story 3, and we didn't pay a dime for anything (movie money from TS Blu's + Concession Cash from Rudy)

But that's it, the others that Alex listed might also be legit, but the ones I mentioned are not unfortunately. The Target I went didn't have much left at bargain price anyhow so I didn't leave with anything. Wishful thinking on my part I suppose.

Re: Kung Fu Hustle with $10 movie ticket
Picked up Kung-fu hustle w/movie ticket, thanks OP.
It says it's for $10 movie ticket OR $10 concession cash.
I also saw Knight's Tale for $14.99 w/movie ticket.
Since the code is on the back of the sticker, you could probably just buy it, peel it off, then return the movie. Not that I'd do that.

I've never seen "Kung Fu Hustle," but Bill Murray just gave it his ringing endorsement, so I'm considering it, since I plan on seeing "The Other Guys" anyway. Hmmm.

I've never been in a Target that keeps their movies in plastic cases. When I picked up Rudy last week, there was no case on it, and I've seen other BD's just sitting on the shelf with that offer on them with nothing to protect the sticker.

Re: Kung Fu Hustle with $10 movie ticket
Is the Blu of Kung-Fu Hustle the Hong Kong cut or the bullshit US cut that was on the original DVD. Anyone?
Edit - did some research, and apparently the Blu is CUT, and not like the "Axe-Kicking Edition" DVD that came out (which contained the UNCUT version of the film). $10 or not, fuck that noise. I'll order this movie from overseas...

So far, Target only does this (or something similar) for video games. I have never seen any movies that are not accessible or in any type of individual locked case.

Re: Kung Fu Hustle with $10 movie ticket
Argh! Plea for help from fellow DVDTalkers.
I was able to successfully redeem one code, so I know that cookies on my computer isn't a problem, etc.
On the second code, I got a page that the site was experiencing a lot of traffic. This occurred after I clicked "continue" from the previews page (after I entered my code). Because I had never been given the option to print, I started over, but it said the code has been redeemed. So, I emailed, but can't imagine getting an email back on a Saturday.
Wife and I are going to see Salt tonight. I have no doubt that customer service will make sure that I get a valid code back. If anybody is willing to provide their code (or fax, scan/email, etc.) or their printed ticket, I will get a code back to them this coming week when I hear back from customer service. Thanks!
Edit: Stopped at Target to get another one to try again. Same error message, same thing happens that the code states it has been redeemed. Salt opens and their site (to me anyway) appears to be down. Has anyone printed out a ticket today?

Re: Kung Fu Hustle with $10 movie ticket
You should get an email with a link to a pdf document in case you couldn't print it originally. At least that's how movie cash worked for me before with Despicable Me etc.

Yep, that's how the first one worked. No confirmation email followed. Just crashed in the middle of redemption, it seems.
