This is probably a mistake on DDs part, but I just ordered Heroes - Season 2 [Blu-Ray] for $8.99.

I doubt this will last long!

The only "problem" I've ever had with Deep Discount was having one backordered item cancelled once and having to wait a while for some other orders. Not a big deal as far as I'm concerned. I've got plenty else to watch.

If DD tries to give us Alec Baldwin instead of Heroes S2 Blu-Ray, I believe that will be a mistake they will have to fix at their expense (paying for shipping both ways). Otherwise I believe it would be illegal to advertise 1 thing and send another. I have saved my 4 screenshots all clearly stating it is Heroes S2. Most likely they'll cancel it like the last time I mistakenly thought I got a good deal from them.

They usually have 3 possibilities... 1. good deal that was a price mistake which gets cancelled, 2. good deal which wasn't a price mistake that is backordered for weeks or months, or 3. mediocre "bleh" deal that I ignore.

Just got the e-mail stating the SNL Alec Baldwin DVD as well. Sent them a response advising them my order history shows that I ordered Heroes Season 2 on Blu-ray for $8.99. I'll post when/if I get a response.

The item number MCA001450 that I received in my email actually shows on dvdplanet as the heroes set. So I dont know whether to cancel or not.

I ordered this quickly and now I regret it. I'm hoping that they just cancel the order. I am so tired of dealing with Customer Service associates.

Yeah, I remember a few years ago they mistakenly had the Planet of the Apes set (you know, the one in the ape head) listed for twenty-something dollars and I ordered a few and they were quick to cancel them on me. Probably the same will happen here, but it's worth a shot anyway.

Yup I was serious... Alec Baldwin, I mean he's funny as hell and I love 30 rock but I don't want it if that's what they try to send. I sent an email to cancel my order. I didn't see a link to cancel online within 30 minutes like Amazon has..
